Butch O'Neal is a fighter by nature. A hard-living ex-homicide cop, he's the only human ever to be allowed in the inner circle of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. And he wants to go even deeper into the vampire world-to engage in the turf war with the lessers. His heart belongs to a female vampire, Marissa, an aristocratic beauty who's way out of his league. And if he can't have her, then at least he can fight side by side with the Brothers.

What did you love best about Lover Revealed?

Even though Butch is human, he tries so hard to be part of the Brotherhood.

Have you listened to any of Jim Frangione’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes and he is great with voices and personalities.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Butch learns he might have a chance to be turned into a vampire, if he goes through regression of past lives.

    Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed Butch's story and i don't think it's over yet. The story may continue in another book. J R Ward always touches on different things going on with other character in each book and I really enjoy that.

Would you try another book from B. Mcintyre and/or Elizabeth Meadows?

I'm sure the stories are really good, however this narrator, and who ever is editing the recording makes the listen horrid. Elizabeth Meadows, not only can not read, she is too breathy, and has not prepared for the read at all. She reads like it's the first time she's reading the material. I had gotten two other books that she narrates.....SAME THING. If you want to really be annoyed try listening to anything read by Elizabeth Meadows.
I will make sure I check who's narration before I purchase ever again. I couldn't rate the stories because the narration was that disgusting.

Set against the backdrop of the turbulent 13th century, a time of chivalry and crusades, poetry, knights, and monarchs, comes the story of the four beautiful daughters of the count of Provence, whose brilliant marriages made them the queens of France, England, Germany, and Sicily.

Would you listen to Four Queens again? Why?

I enjoy all historical novels. Some are written better than others and give more information. This gave a brief history of the Provencal Sisters who did indeed rule Europe. Marguerite married Louis IX, Elenor married Henry III, Beatrice became queen consort of Sicily, Sanchia became queen of the Romans. We are talking 12th century Europe. You can tell that these young ladies, because they were very young when they married, 12 and 13. Were very lucky to be brought up by rich and intelligent parents. They were taught to read, and understand finance. These young girls went on to shape the world of the the 12th century. It is a very brief but enjoyable story.

Which character – as performed by Josephine Bailey – was your favorite?

I have heard Josephine Bailey before and was always please with her narrations.

    Any additional comments?

This book is too short to really go into each young woman's life. In the court's they were brought up in and how they learned to survive on their wits and charm. They were all supposed to be amazing beauties. (I'm sure that helped) When you start out as a 13 year old beautiful queen, by the time you are 25, you have learned much to survive, and use your charms to aid your king and country. I would love to read (or listen to a book about each one of these woman)

How bad do you want to be bound, gagged, spanked, or slapped? How bad to you want to have your hair pulled, your nipples clamped, your body strung up? How bad do you want to pant, gasp, scream, and squirm? How bad do you want to turn over some part of yourself to a man just dying to strip you bare and take you somewhere you've never been? Here you'll find all sorts of women for whom their own personal "Sir"s (or Masters or Daddies) hold the reins to their erotic pleasure. For them, saying yes (or a bratty, defiant "no" for which they'll be duly punished) is as powerful as a good, hard smack on the ass.

What did you love best about Yes, Sir?

What I find in many anthology's put together by the same person, is that there will be many stories that are the same. In this collection I'm happy to say there was only one story I've heard before, and it was easy to just skip over. I think that RKB always finds the most erotic, kinky, sensual, sexy and hot stories. I'm just glad that it had a lot of new stories to make it an interesting listen.

What other book might you compare Yes, Sir to and why?

Surrender, and Please Sir also by RKB.

Which character – as performed by Hooper Tillie – was your favorite?

I think that Hooper Tillie did a fine job with all the voices emotions and character. I never heard her before but I was impressed.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I enjoy these types of erotic stories, and when they are well written and narrated it makes it that much more enjoyable. When you have an anthology of any where between 20 or 60 stories in some books, you're not going to love every one. However in this anthology I enjoyed about 92% That's saying a lot.

    Any additional comments?

If you enjoy kinky role, play. If your not offended by women who choose to surrender completely, even though they are in fact strong individuals. If you understand the act of being submissive whether your a male or a female is really just a way of getting away from your daily routine of being in charge, especially when you are a boss, or have a lot of responsibilities. When you don't have to think or make the decision it's like a vacation. Many Tops say you can never really be a "TOP" unless you have "Bottomed" at least once. It's true, and although it is not for every one, just like skydiving, or deep sea fishing. If you've every had the thrill of having a marlin on the end of your rod and trying to land it, sometimes it takes hours. The thrill if you land it is wild, but even if you don't that struggle was an Adrenalin Rush! If you can understand that then the rest is simple. Oh and BTW that's why there are over 1000 cable channels, something for everyone.

I was so surprised at this story the wording and discriptions of places and things happening. I didn't want to stop listening. This English woman who becomes a slave do to being in the worong place. Tells the story in first person. As time goes by she finds that she enjoys being a a slave and being beaten. She loves having sex with the sheik no matter how he treats her. They call her Chengi. She talks about what her life was like in England. and she sees how poor and third world people live and realize how spoiled she is. She love being disiplaned. This story is all in first person, you see how her feeling change about circumstances and she only wants to spend her life with the sheik

Have you listened to any of Anneke Carter’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No but I will look for her because I truly enjoyed her narration.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Chengi realized how much she enjoys pain and being used as a sex slave.

    Any additional comments?

The discriptions of cities, jungles, the heat of the desart, the pain of being wipped are just done with such passion you actually feel what this woman is going through. I reall will get another book by Chole Thurlow. She really has a way with expressing emotions and feelings.

When Lilly learns that she is more than what she thinks she is. When she understands how the people who love her see her.

The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires.... From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I also saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside - so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat. No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.

What did you like best about Entwined With You? What did you like least?

I have started several books that were supposed to be TRILOGIES. It seems that the authors see that there is so much interest in the stories they turn them into on going series ie "Wheel of Time" 16 LONG BOOKS. If you say it's going to be 3 books keep it that way, even if you have to make it a little longer. Sylvia Day writes really hot passionate pros. But she should have ended the series and if she wanted to bring back the characters in another book, which I've seen done, I'm sure it would have been really hot and awesome. What she did to her fans her was bate and switch......NOT NICE

Would you be willing to try another book from Sylvia Day? Why or why not?

She writes great, but she shouldn't do what she did in saying it's a trilogy, then make the third book end like you know there will be another book to tie things up. Who knows if that will be the end of it.....

    Any additional comments?

Sylvia Day is a really good writer of sexual erotica, but what she did to her fans with this book was really cruel. If it would have been known to be an on going series from the start, people may not have been so up set. So many writers do this now. Makes you not want to start a trilogy or series.

It seems Faith Hunter knows how to keep the reader (listener) on the edge. This is the fifth book in the series and I've enjoyed every one so far. Each a bit different, but getting better.

Who was your favorite character and why?

In some ways "Beast"......but Jane of course. Her inter action with Leo, sometimes is a hoot. .

What does Khristine Hvam bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Khristine Hvam is a wonderful narrator, and gets the southern LA and French quarter accents really good. When you have an excellent narrator, it makes a book that much better. I have read books and then listened to on audible. I usually enjoy the audible versions more

I've listened to every audio book from Molly Harper narrated by Amanda Ronconi that is available on Audible. Every one is laugh out loud funny, with a great story line attached as well

What did you like best about this story?

Brought new characters into the Hollow, and sill had the same ones interact with the new ones made for very interesting and funny story, and always a mystery too.

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I never heard Amanda Ronconi do an Irish accent, and it was a little weird for me. but still liked her emotions and handling of characters.

Both Meagan and Ashley. Even though Meagan is main character, her sister Ashley is the reason this story exists. It keeps you going I think until about the last 5 or 6 chapters I kind of figured it out but it was still a good story. Suspense and puts a new spin on screwed up family dynamics.
