Best-selling author Orson Scott Card tells the story of a unique woman, one who is beautiful, tough, smart, and resourceful. Sarah takes on vivid reality as a woman desirable to kings, a devoted wife, and a faithful follower of the God of Abraham, chosen to experience an incomparable miracle.

Would you try another book from Orson Scott Card and/or Gabrielle de Cuir?

Not any biblical books. He took the story of Sarah the matriarch of the Hebrew nation and turned it into a sweet fairy tail. If you want to read a more truthful account (even though they are still all fiction) Read "Sarah" by Marek Halter. It is much closer to biblical accounts as to what actually happened during this time. I am familiar with Old and New Testament and Mr Card who is a wonderful writer of SiFi just tried to make this into a more Christian tale. It doesn't work,

Would you recommend Sarah: Women of Genesis to your friends? Why or why not?

No. First it is a poor account of the matriarch, 2 it was made to sound to much like a Christian story, 3 many of the thing that happened he cleaned up and made it fit his story line. Sarah was not given to Abraham by her father, Abraham came and had to take her from the city. Many facts were just wrong. That really bothered me. I am an Atheist, however as I said I have studied the text of both Old and New Testament. (which I believe are both great works of fiction) none the less you can't change what happened unless you're making a completely different story.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The performance was passionless, just like the story it's self. This is a story about a man and a woman who started a nation. Not a teenage fling.

Did Sarah: Women of Genesis inspire you to do anything?

Glad I read the other "Sarah" first by Marek Halter. (A world of difference in story line and narration; Bernadette Dune. Much more passion and emotion about the beliefs and how they came upon them

    Any additional comments?

Abraham didn't believe for sure in the one God until after he and Sarah marry and are many years in turmoil. Mr. Card makes you believe that Abraham brought the one god to Sarah before they married. NOT. Many facts are wrong. and Mr. Card really pushes the Christian edge to this story. Mr Card is a Mormon so his writing will reflect that. I feel badly that the author of "The End Game" was a real disappointment.

Would you listen to Tokyo Raider again? Why?

I have all of Larry Corriea's audio books and have listened to them more than once. All the narrators of every book have been great and the stories are usually nonstop action.

Who was your favorite character and why?

While Joe is helping the Japanese try to fight the Russian Deacon, he blasts the USA national anthem from the speakers of the robot he's working .....To the dismay of the Japanese ......

What about Bronson Pinchot’s performance did you like?

Bronson Pinchot is a fantastic narrator, when I see that he's doing a narration, I almost always listen to see if I think I'd want to get that book. He can do every voice and accent and emotions. I enjoy his narrations very much...one of my top 10

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was very easy to do because it was just about an hour.

    Any additional comments?

Anytime I see Larry Corriea has a new book available I automatically get it, I've never been disappointed ever. One of my favorite narrators with one of my favorite authors....how awesome is that. .

With his talent for divining the future, Alex Verus should have foreseen his friends' reactions to the revelations about his previous life. Anne Walker no longer trusts him-and has also cut all ties with the mage community after getting kicked out of the apprentice program. As a favor to Luna, Alex's own apprentice and Anne's best friend, he checks in on her only to be told to leave her alone. Then Anne gets kidnapped.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would and have recommended this series to several of my friends. Anyone who enjoys The Dresden Files, or Felix Castor series, or John Taylor & The Night Side series has to love this one.

What other book might you compare Hidden to and why?

I can only compare it to other series of books and I named them above.

What does Gildart Jackson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Gilbert Jackson is wonderful in this series. He does both male and female voices and emotions of all characters fantastically, I hope he continues to narrate this series. I also hope that more books in this series come out real soon. I finished all five books in this series in under 10 days.....

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Sometimes you have to be bad to be good.

    Any additional comments?

This series shows that both good people can be nasty and that nasty people can be good. We are humans after all and make choices. I love that about this series. Also that the characters grow in each book to show new strengths in their personality. Must have more Alex...

In 1914, the war which was to have been wrapped up by Christmas had - in reality - only just begun, as all sides entrenched themselves deeper into the Great War. Christmas Eve, 1914 follows one company of British officers as they rotate forward to spend their Christmas on the front lines, a mere 80 yards from the German guns. Upper- and working-class men and boys are thrown together into one trench and struggle to survive.

What made the experience of listening to Christmas Eve, 1914 the most enjoyable?

When I turned on to Audible and saw this offering I was thrilled. Since just reading about "Flanders Fields" in my Sunday newspaper, it was just a wonderful gift to your loyal customers for this time of year.

What other book might you compare Christmas Eve, 1914 to and why?

What happened that Christmas of 1914 one hundred years ago can not be compared to anything that I know of. Truth is often stranger than fiction.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

This was done beautifully with a full cast. I usually don't like sound effects in my audio books but it was done with style and class. There were many times I laughed out loud at the British dry humor. I also felt emotional about the deaths from war.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It was easy enough to do that is was just over an hour long. I didn't know where that hour went it had me so engrossed listening to the story.

    Any additional comments?

I love that the story is coming from one of the officers writing to a mother of one of his comrades who died and served with him ......the letter is written ten years after, to the mother. I can't imagine a mother not knowing about her son because no one bothered to contact her that he had died in the service of his country. Yes this is fictionalized about that time but it none the less shows that we are all human, Thank you Audibe for this wonderful gift.

I don't publicly advertise that I'm a mage, but I don't exactly hide it either, and one of the odd things I've learnt over the years is just how much you can get away with if you're blatant enough. Hide something behind smoke and mirrors and make people work to find it, and they'll tear the place down looking for what's there. Alex Verus is a diviner who can see probable futures-a talent that's gotten him out of many a tough scrape. But this time, he may be in over his head. Alex was once apprenticed to a Dark mage, and in his service he did a lot of things he isn't proud of.

What did you love best about Chosen?

All the characters from previous stories really grew and developed in different ways. I think that Luna realized ahead of Alex that some times you just have to deal harshly with bad circumstances....

What was one of the most memorable moments of Chosen?

*Spoiler* When Arachne has a conversation with Alex at the end of the story letting him know in very simplistic ways (to quote Shakespeare) "The evil that men do live after them the good is oft interred with their bones" (Meaning people usually only remember the bad things you've done and not the good)

Which character – as performed by Gildart Jackson – was your favorite?

All of them actually, but besides Alex, Arachne is one of my favorite characters, and just as in the myth she speaks truth.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Even good people have to do harsh things to survive

    Any additional comments?

I'm about to start book five in this series, and I hope that there will be more books to follow. It seems that like "The Dresden Files" and Felix Castor series each book just gets better an better.

Imagine a library - a very special one run by a librarian whose only concern is pleasing her patrons. In fact, this librarian will stop at nothing to service her readers. To that end, she has carefully collected a fantastic and fantasy-filled set of stories guaranteed to satisfy literary lusts in The Sexy Librarian's Big Book of Erotica. This voracious volume is simply bursting at the binding with amorous archives and bibliophilic bliss; it is a veritable dictionary of desires, with stories by top eroticists...

Where does The Sexy Librarian's Big Book of Erotica rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I enjoy all types of erotica. BD/SM, gay, straight, lesbian, etc. A well written story by great authors This is one of the best collections I've listened to in a while a great collection of authors who write great erotica.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Sexy Librarian's Big Book of Erotica?

Many of the stories have surprise endings, and they really made the collection more enjoyable. One of my favorites IS " Three Legs in the Evening" by Janine Ashbless I don't want to spoil it for anyone

    Which scene was your favorite?

I had many favorites and when you have 22 to choose from it's hard to pick just one "Lauren's Journey" by D.L King was very good so so many of them were. I liked all 22 but loved about 18 of them. If you enjoy GOOD erotica, that is well written and well narrated I recommend this one highly.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Several stories were exceptional I already mentioned two, but Sensate Silicone, The Contest, Book Swap, The Secret Game, Second Look A Pervertedd Fairy Tale, Moonshine Ballad, Cherries in Season, The Perfect Massage, Full Frontal Neighbor, The Whole of Me (also a surprise ending), Notes on a Scandal, Appetizer, Mikhael, The Mating Chamber

    Any additional comments?

There is over 10 hours of great listening and some stories will really surprise you, and most likely turn you to new authors to try, I know I'll listen to this more than one time. Well done.

Would you try another book from Tristan Taormino and/or Lily Bask?

I've listened to many books from Tristan Taormino and I really enjoyed them Lily Bask I never heard before but she did a good job of narrating . My problem was that these stories were all very edgy and pushed all the relationships over the edge. I don't mind a mix of this but all the stories were very hard edged, and over the top.

Has When She Was Good turned you off from other books in this genre?

No I just like a better mix of stories in an anthology, all these stories were about lesbians doing things that most people wouldn't do in any relationship, whether it be gay, lesbian or straight. All the stories pushed the envelope and I just couldn't enjoy that many stories in a row of that nature4. I'm not saying they were horrible, just too much in one anthology.

What aspect of Lily Bask’s performance would you have changed?

She did a good job with the stories she had to read. It was just too much of subs, and doms and control issues. If you're reading one story about this it's one thing but 22 short stories in an anthology about lesbian erotica should have been a better mix. (just my opinion) I have several anthologies by Tristan Taormino and have enjoyed them. If you enjoy listening to so many sad situations in every story then this is what you may enjoy. It was a bit depressing after a while

Did When She Was Good inspire you to do anything?

Yes, listen to something more positive and upbeat.

    Any additional comments?

When an anthology is put together even if it's supposed to be pushing the envelope, I feel there should have been a mix with upbeat stories as well, that could have made this a better collection. This is the first book by Tristan Tormino I have to return. I know I can't listen to this again.

From Charlaine Harris, the best-selling author who created Sookie Stackhouse and her world of Bon Temps, Louisiana, comes a darker locale - populated by more strangers than friends. But then, that's how the locals prefer it. Welcome to Midnight, Texas, a town with many boarded-up windows and few full-time inhabitants, located at the crossing of Witch Light Road and Davy Road. It' s a pretty standard dried-up western town.

What did you love best about Midnight Crossroad?

All the bizarre characters, great paranormal living in this small Texas town.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Midnight Crossroad?

I don't want to give away a spoiler and it would be if I mentioned it. Charlaine Harris really knows how to develop characters and especially knows how to push the envelope I've listened to several of her series which I've loved. I was disappointed with the ending of the "Sookie Stackhouse" series. However this maybe something we can get out teeth into, and hopefully it will only be a Trilogy like they say. I think she just went too far with Sookie and couldn't end it right.

What does Susan Bennett bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She was very good with characters and emotions. I really enjoyed her narration

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

When you find out who killed Aubrey, that really got me. I think everyone will agree with this one.

    Any additional comments?

I hope Ms. Harris won't keep us waiting too long for the next book in this series. I truly enjoyed it.

What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Each narrator brought their own special touch and special flavor to the story of the making of "The Princess Bride" Stories about those who are no longer alive and what they meant to the cast that survives them.
