Lisbeth Salander—the heart of Larsson’s two previous novels—lies in critical condition, a bullet wound to her head, in the intensive care unit of a Swedish city hospital. She’s fighting for her life in more ways than one: if and when she recovers, she’ll be taken back to Stockholm to stand trial for three murders. With the help of her friend, journalist Mikael Blomkvist, she will not only have to prove her innocence, but also identify and denounce those in authority.

I've really tried to get into this book, but there is a big problem for me, I can't identify the people in it, they all have swedish or finlandic o german names... needelman, bloomqvest, etc, etc. I enjoy most murder stories, but this one looses me all the time, I can't tell where they are, who is talking, etc. Maybe it's just my simple mind, but I thought I'd like it because on the sample I noticed an english voice was the reader, and I'm english, but it's a real let down. The story isn't that fascinating either, there is no one really you can identify with, one is a child molester, the other is a horrible caracter, and the rest are equally naff. Wish I'd spent my money on another audio book!

In a novel that slams through one hairpin surprise after another, Lee Child unleashes a thriller that spans three decades and gnaws at the heart of America...and for Jack Reacher, a man who trusts no one and likes it that way, it's a mystery with only one answer the kind that comes when you finally get face-to-face and look your worst enemy in the eye.

Loved the audio book, when I started to listen to it I thought I wouldn't enjoy it because the way it was narrated seemed very slow and wierd, but when I got into it, I really enjoyed it, amazingly good story. Several times I got home from my walk (I listen to audiobooks while I take a walk), I decided to go for a bit more of a walk because the story was so exciting.... !!! great stuff.

Troy Phelan is a self-made billionaire, one of the richest men in the United States. He is also eccentric, reclusive, confined to a wheelchair, and looking for a way to die. His potential heirs, to no one's surprise - especially Troy's - are circling like vultures. But Troy shocks them all when he leaves his fortune to an estranged, illegitimate daughter.

This is my fourth or fifth audio book, and I loved it, as most people mention, the narrator is great, and the story is fantastic. Would recomend.
