Take one look at Kevin Smith: He's a balding fatty who wears a size XXL hockey jersey, shorts, and slippers year-round. Not a likely source for life advice. But take a second look at Kevin Smith: He changed filmmaking forever when he was twenty-four with the release of Clerks, and since then has gone on to make nine more profitable movies, runs his own production company, wrote a best-selling graphic novel, and has a beautiful wife and kids. So he must be doing something right.

In the aftermath of his terrible war, Ender Wiggin disappeared, and a powerful voice arose: the Speaker for the Dead, who told the true story of the Bugger War. Now, long years later, a second alien race has been discovered by Portuguese colonists on the planet Lusitania. But again the aliens' ways are strange and frightening...again, humans die. And it is only the Speaker for the Dead, who is also Ender Wiggin the Xenocide, who has the courage to confront the mystery...and the truth.

This what Orson Scott Card wanted to write, and it shows. The depth of the topics in this book could seem a bit more than what its young directed audience can handle.

The Thing on the Doorstep, another amazing tale of horror from the pen of H.P. Lovecraft. Imagine a person with a brilliant mind, but a very weak will meeting and marrying a person whose body is merely a vehicle transporting the "soul" of a very evil entity looking to trade bodies and become a man. Imagine also that this person with the weak will and brilliant mind is your best friend. Beware answering your friends knock at your door after midnight.

Stephen King returns to the characters and territory of one of his most popular novels ever, The Shining, in this instantly riveting novel about the now middle-aged Dan Torrance (the boy protagonist of The Shining) and the very special 12-year-old girl he must save from a tribe of murderous paranormals. This is an epic war between good and evil, a gory, glorious story that will thrill the millions of hyper-devoted fans of The Shining and wildly satisfy anyone new to the territory of this icon in the King canon.

It takes a little bit to understand what is join on but well worth it. And the readers voice is so sexy. If you like Confessions of a D-list super villain you will love this one. The story is told from the point of view of a cocky village from a old fiery tail. Yes their is some language and some sexual themes but very good story and well thought out.

The plan: To steal a priceless elven manuscript that once belonged to her family, but is now in the hands of the most powerful man in the Republic. To do so, Loch - former soldier, former prisoner, and current fugitive - must assemble a crack team of magical misfits that includes a cynical illusionist, a shape shifting unicorn, a repentant death priestess, a talking magical war hammer, and a lad with seemingly no skills.

I will not comment on the reader really. She was average and thus tolerable and enjoyable.

I felt there was nothing really special about his story. If felt like the story was a prequel when it wasn't. It was odd how that worked out. You felt like the characters where more developed in other books (that do not exist I think) so their awesomeness was implied as if the reader already had a relationship with them. Character backgrounds where mentioned but never elaborated on. Not much about the world is explained so you feel that there is more that you don't know about.

This reader is just rocking. I think I could buy other books that he has read regardless if they are my normal subject. The reader makes all the difference in the world in a book and I just can not speak more highly of him

I always wanted to read these books but just never had the time and the reader made it even better for me. I felt that, while trying to read it myself, the books were dry. But they are very intriguing.
