A brutal crime.... A group of urban terrorists.... An investigation of dirty cops.... The leads in these supposedly unconnected cases have become tangled in some very ugly - and dangerous - knots. Now Special Operations detective Matt Payne and his colleagues find themselves fearing not only for their jobs, but also for their very lives.

I usually enjoy WEB Griffin's books, however after trying to listen to this book several times - I gave up because of the poor narration

New York book editor Maris Matherly-Reed knows a best seller when she sees one - even if it is just a tantalizing partial manuscript submitted by a writer identified only as P.M.E., with the return address of an obscure island off the Georgia coast. Maris is intrigued enough to search for him.

This was a great book with many twists and turns and kept my interest until the very end.... I will continue to read/listen to more Sandra Brown books. The narrator was also excellent.

If you like suspense, this book has it all.

John and Jenny were just beginning their life together. They were young and in love, with a perfect little house and not a care in the world. Then they brought home Marley, a wriggly yellow furball of a puppy. Life would never be the same.

The book was excellent and refreshing. It brought me joy in remembering my golden retriever that lived to a ripe old age of 15. Marley made me laugh and cry. Thank you John Grogan for right this story of the life you and your family shared with Marely.
