    These stories, written by great authors but clearly not their best work, are subjected to cold readings making them flat and toneless. Thoughts and meanings do not flow. Men are made to sound like local yokels and women like breathless brainless boobs who will surely soon faint.

    The readers are among the best I have heard. Their phrasing and inflections are spot-on.
