    Would you try another book from Michael Connelly and/or Michael McConnohie?

    Michael Connelly: Absolutely!Michael McConnohie: NO!


    Would you be willing to try another one of Michael McConnohie’s performances?

    No.Maybe because I had listened to most of the other Harry Bosch novels and enjoyed them all, but this narrator did not do a good job at all.
    I was so disappointed I couldn't stand to listen to but a few chapters before I downloaded the book to my IPad so I could just read it.
    The book was a very good read, but I will try not to listen to anything further by this performer.


    Do you think The Black Box needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

    Not a follow-up on the Black Box, but more Harry Bosch, or perhaps his daughter becoming a police officer. I'm sure that is in the future?!!!

    Very good plot. I always enjoy Harry doing what he thinks is right.

    What made the experience of listening to Bone Cold the most enjoyable?

    Entire story was well written. Enough romance to be enjoyable but not over the top. I love a good thriller with some romance mixed in.


    What does Natasha Vincent bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    She did very well on making the voices recognizable.


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Most defiantly!

    Creole Belle begins where the last book in the Dave Robicheaux series, The Glass Rainbow, ended. Dave is in a recovery unit in New Orleans, where a Creole girl named Tee Jolie Melton visits him and leaves him an iPod with the country blues song “Creole Belle” on it. Then she disappears. Dave becomes obsessed with the song and the memory of Tee Jolie and goes in search of her sister, who later turns up inside a block of ice floating in the Gulf.

    Would you listen to Creole Belle again? Why?

    Yes, after a while. It was so much going on, I'm sure I missed something I would pick up on next time.

    What Cleat did with the Draino.


    Which character – as performed by Will Patton – was your favorite?

    Mr. Patton does a wonderful job on all the characters, especially Dave and Cleat.


    Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    When Alifair befriended Gretchen in spite of Dave was among several.
