The narration let's this title down, big time! One sentence just runs in to the next without pause which is very difficult to listen to. However I am not a fan of the use of the old language used throughout the book. Jim Rohn highly recommends this book but most of the lessons on money are fairly obvious - e.g. never a borrower nor lender be. I forced myself to listen to the end but it is unlikely I will listen to it again.

For the price you can't argue with the content. I highly recommend his "Have your best year ever" DVD but missing from much of his audiobooks and DVD's is the information on how to actually use a journal which is where this comes in. If you haven't seen or heard his other material then you might be wondering why you need this title. Good value.

  • Delivered From Distraction: Getting the Most Out of Life with Attention Deficit Disorder

In 1994, Driven to Distraction sparked a revolution in our understanding of attention deficit disorder. Now a second revolution is under way in the approach to ADD, and the news is great. Drug therapies, our understanding of the role of diet and exercise, even the way we define the disorder, all are changing radically. And doctors are realizing that millions of adults suffer from this condition, though the vast majority of them remain undiagnosed and untreated.

I didn't like the unabridged version as it is too long for me with too many side stories (not ADD friendly), this abridged version was a much better concised version that covered everything I wanted to know without as much technical language. I am not as happy with the narrator on this abridged version though, as they were different and the unabridged version narrator sounded more like a doctor which I liked. But with that said, this audiobook enlightened me so much about my ADD. I had to laugh at how accurate the symptoms list was. It contains a lot of useful information for children & adults (including an interesting shortened segment on managing your ADD child going through college - so they don't end up with a 0.00 GPA!! ). I highly recommend this shortened version though.
