This is a cute story but very predictable. It has some funny "one liners".
Yes. It was a funny way to look at pregnancy through the eyes of 4 different people.
My only comment is I wish the author would have gone into detail about the other 3 births like she did on the first, not just give the final details. The first was so funny it was a bit of a let down not to be able to have the same enjoyment with the others.
I normally only listen to books once so no.
That they were all in it together and they stood by each other.
My only comment would be to have heard in detail more about the other 3 births, not just the details of the babies afterward. The first one was so funny it was a bit of a let down not to be able to experience it with the others.
Absolutely! With the audio edition it's easier to understand the emotions and storyline rather than just imagining it.
Liba - she seems like a very down to earth kind of girl but don't get on her bad side.
I normally only listen to books once.
I laughed and I cried. What a emotional story this was. I listened to it on my 1-hr each way to work and back to home and couldn't wait to get back in the car to listen to it more.
It gave me something to listen to on my way home in the afternoons.
I could see all 3 books being made into a movie but I don't think it would last for a TV series.
I don't think so. I normally only read a book once. After the first you already know how it ends or what the "secret" is.
That the story was about 3 seperate families within a community.
I think I have either read or listened to all of Mary Kay's books and the storyline is exactly what I like to read/listen to. She always has a sense of humor and it able to keep me interested by throwing a few little events I wasn't expecting.
At the beginning when the car ends up in the pool.
Jennifer of course. She went through so much.
Haven't listened to any others.
That the letters/files were never given to Anthony, they were forgot about for over 40 years, tragic.
It's hard to decide on just one. The entire series kept me on the edge of my seat, I couldn't stop listening.
Bared to You - along the same storyline but not as good
She was able to really be in each character she played without sounding the same.
I normally don't listen to books a second time.
When you read a book it's difficult to hear or feel what the character it trying to communicate. I loved that Rosalyn read the entire series. I don't like when they change narrator mid series.l
