Awesome book ! Understanding how our brain works, makes it easy afterwards to identify what is going on in specific situations and adapt accordingly. We can feel it's based on a lot of hard science, but well adapted so that we are not overwhelmed by it.
Thumbs up :)
I am not sure - depends on the subject.I wasn't converted to a raving fan.
How often he repeats the same things. Sometimes, changing the context. Sometimes even not.
This was my first listen
The concept is worth discovering, but it's way too long. Half of it would have been enough.
Maybe I didn't understand the concept fully, but to me innate thinking (look it up)is just another word for mindfulness. Now making abstraction of the semantics to describe our models. The concepts and ideas of this book are great and need to be discovered by as many people as possible.
I will continue to seek Seth Godin's work, but be more careful to the content proposed.
I'm a big fan of Seth Godin, but I have to warn you that this book is NOT about marketing as we are used to by him. It is more about the 9-5 shift worker who would like to be noticed at work.
Now that you know that, this book might still be for you.
Also know that I have not finished the book so maybe there's more to it.
