"Nostalgic, but never maudlin"
Born in 1966, I'm perhaps just a few years too old for this book, the members of whose ideal target demographic were probably born around 1972. Still, I had a blast. Author and narrator alike have tongues firmly in cheeks, but the irony is never overdone and there is a real story, and a good one, to back it up. Those for whom the 1980s were formative years will love this book, as will all devotees of nerd culture. The irony of having Wil Wheaton read this book to us is inescapable. He deadpans it brilliantly.
