I read all the Werecats books and, although I got a little frustrated with Faythe at times, it was a series I had to see through to the end. Good storytelling & narration.
Fans of the paranormal genre will enjoy this new installment to the Toby Daye series. As always, Mary Robinette Kowal does a wonderful job bringing the characters and story to life!
You'd think after so many installments J. D. Robb would run out of ideas for this series, but nope - she just gets better and better. I really enjoyed this tale. As always, Susan Ericksen does an AWESOME job bringing this story to life. I love that I can recognize each character just by the change in her voice! Highly recommended!
This is a VERY enjoyable series. It's a wonderful additional to the paranormal genre. If you're looking for a new series in this genre - you owe it to yourself to give this a try! Mary Robinette Kowal brings the characters of Toby Daye's world to life - highly recommended!
I've read all of the books in this series and this one is now one of my favorites. A good mystery! I enjoy the interactions of all the characters. Highly recommended! New narrator for this series - January LaVoy - did an EXCELLENT job! Loved her narration of this interesting tale!
I was quickly caught up in the story! The characters were likeable and interesting. This was a quick, fun read. I look forward to reading the next book - Smasher! Paul Boehmer did an excellent job narrating this entertaining tale!
Gail Carriger has created a wholly enjoyable series! Alexia and her whole cast of friends are very entertaining. I am an Amelia Peabody fan and, after reading Soulless, have concluded the Alexia and Amelia are definitely cut from the same, very proper, English cloth! Alexia just has the added twist of battling supernatural creatures along with her mysteries. :) I HIGHLY recommend this whole series! Emily Gray does a fantastic job of portraying the characters. This is a wonderful listen!
When I first started reading this series, I was skeptical I would like it in the long run. But Rachel's character (and her friends) are always changing. This is a very enjoyable series for the paranormal genre. Jenks is my favorite! I highly recommend this audiobook - the whole series. Marguerite Gavin is a fantastic narrator and is a definite plus for Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan series.
I've discovered I like anything Molly Harper writes. Her stories are a fun, light-hearted read that I really enjoy. Amanda Ronconi does an excellent job narrating. If you like the supernatural genre, you will enjoy this book!
Charley is such a likeable character and her interaction with her friends makes this series a fun read. Darynda Jones tells a wonderful story!! This is like a supernatural Stephanie Plum! Can't wait to read more about Charley and her new Guardian - should be fun! As audiobook lovers know, a narrator can make or break an audiobook - Lorelei King is one of the best - and she does a FANTASTIC job with this series, as always. Can't wait for more Charley Davidson!
I enjoyed this series right up until this book. The beginning is slow and Eugenie was really starting to get on my nerves. (Does this dress make me look fat?) The second half picked up the pace a little. However, the end of a series SHOULD tie up all the loose ends neatly. This did not give a satisfying end. In my opinion the ending of this book suggests the author may be talked into writing more in this series or that she'll pick up a spinoff series from it. For being the main character, Eugenie sure is a whiner. Not sure I'm sorry to see this end. The narrator did a good job with what she had to work with.
