We love Bob Lee Swagger. Despite his age, he still gets his man or should we say men. Devoted to his family - and tough as nails on top of it.
Although not as much dog interest as some of his other stories, this had a good plot and was well read.
Not the best reader, but the story of the Thornton family was very inspiring.
A great story developed by going back and forth in time to discover the reason for a child's abandonment aboard a boat to Australia. The story is well written and executed. Also - very well read. I am hooked by Kate Morton's writing style and want to listen to more.
A well read sequal. I enjoyed it as much as the first book.
Lots of twists and turns. A good listen!
Lorna Raver does an excellent job of reading this wonderful book so that you feel like you are actually hearing the author Susan Richards tell her story. Although Richards has faced some difficult issues in her life, she presents them using a wonderful sense of humor. A great tribute to how the animals in our lives help us to define ourselves as human beings. I highly recommend this book, especially to animal lovers. Richards is a talented writer. I am looking forward to listening to "Chosen Forever".
I love everything that Jeffrey Archer has ever written and this book is no exception! Great characters, plot, execution.
I've become a huge David Rosenfelt/Andy Carpenter fan. I love dogs and his cases are a fun way to get my dog fix.
Pillars of the Earth was one of my all-time favorite reads and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to World Without End. It's always a good sign when you are sad that the book has ended - that you will miss reading or hearing about the characters each day. Ken Follett accomplished that with both of these books.
