I have read over and over all of Greg and Amira's books - in fact I read It's Called a Break-Up Because It's Broken so many times I had to replace it. This book has pointed out in the nicest of ways what I have been doing to de-rail my own relationships. I am two months into dating the most remarkable man I have ever met in my life (I am 49) and I have already stopped myself from repeating old bad patterns because of this book. If we get married, I am inviting Greg and Amira to my wedding.

this is the BEST book about relationship advice and figuring out more about why I do what than ANY other book I have ever read or listened to. I cringed most of the way as I listened to what I have been doing - and really need to stop. I just met a fantastic man, and have already been following what I learned here from Tracy. EVERY woman should get this book, married or not. OUTSTANDING.

Ancient Egypt. Land of the Pharaohs. A kingdom built on gold. A legend shattered by greed. Now the Valley of Kings lies ravaged by war, drained of its lifeblood, as weak men inherit the cherished crown. On the eve of the festival of Osiris, the loyal subjects of the Pharaoh gather in Thebes to pay tribute to their leader.

Exploding with all the passion and rage of a bygone time, River God is a masterpiece of historical writing.

This book should be made into a movie or an HBO series - but not Oliver Stone please. He would just ruin it like he did the Alexander story. One of the most exciting compelling reads I have ever had!! Dick Hill's narration was reminiscent of Ben Kingsley, like Tata. Highly recommended!!

On Getting Unstuck, Pema Chodron introduces a rare Tibetan teaching she received from her teacher, Dzigar Kontrul Rinpoche, and one that has become critical to her practice. Here, she unveils the mystery of an ineffable quality; a "pre-emotional" feeling that arises in us, brings us discomfort, and causes us to react by escaping the discomfort, often with harmful habits. With Getting Unstuck, she offers us a first look at "both the itch and the scratch": what Tibetan Buddhists call shenpa.
