    This was my husband's choice. I couldn't imagine listening to the same story that long. Boy was I wrong. That was the fastest trip across four states I've ever had. The voices were incredible. The characters have grown as they would have in real life. But they haven't lost a thing.

    It's intense!


    Who was your favorite character and why?

    Katniss, definitely. Strong.


    What does Carolyn McCormick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    Carolyn McCormick is always good. She has read many of my favorite stories. She can be intense without overdoing it.


    Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Towards the end, yes.

    Good for mature teenagers. Will appreciate America.

    Would you try another book from Todd Burpo, and Lynn Vincent and/or Dean Gallagher?

    No, it was VERY repetative, like the author assumed we would repeatedly forget the boy's story of heaven.


    What did you like best about this story?

    The story - I believe it's true


    Would you be willing to try another one of Dean Gallagher’s performances?

    No, his voice was unpleasant. I had to take breaks from it.


    You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    I'm glad I learned the story.
