Tate "Talker" Walker has spent most of his life hiding his scars under a bright punk facade, and until he sat next to Brian Cooper on a bus, it worked. But Brian has spent his whole life being the invisible man, and he's used to looking below the surface. What he sees in Talker is a fragile and lovable human being. Brian is outwardly straight, but Talker is desperate for love, and when Talker's behavior leads to some painful consequences, Brian is forced to come out of his closet—in dramatic fashion.

I thought this was a great love story...until the end. Then the bubble burst. Amy Lane is not trying to write a man love story, but a female romance story with male characters. Men don't use terms like "Dream-boy." One last word: Don't impose feminine characteristics on men.

Six million years ago, at the very dawn of the starfaring era, Abigail Gentian fractured herself into a thousand male and female clones: the shatterlings. Sent out into the galaxy, these shatterlings have stood aloof as they document the rise and fall of countless human empires. They meet every 200,000 years to exchange news and memories of their travels with their siblings.

I would love to hear more of this story line. It ended too quickly and begged to find out more!

Griffin has a secret. It's a secret that he's sworn to his parents to keep, and never tell. Griffin is a Jumper: a person who can teleport to any place he has ever been. He knows that the men who killed his parents were looking for him, and he must never let them find him. Griffin has only two goals: to survive, and to kill the people who want him dead. And a jumper bent on revenge is not going to let anything stand in his way.

I have just two words for this story: very exciting! I would love to have more books in this series and by this author. Very good writer.
