Yes, I listen to several Pride and Prejudice books. Flo Gibson interpets the characters very well.
The visit to Premberly was always the best part of the book.
Mrs. Bennet, is my favorite character, her nerves is my second favorite.
When Jane realized, Bingley's sisters did not like her or her family.
I first read Pride and Prejudice when I fourteen. Jane Austen was boring and knew nothing about women's right. After I turned 21, I began to appreciate her novels and her fight for women Lizzie, was her mouthpiece for 19th century. Now at the age of 63, Mrs. Bennet became my favorite because she controls the story; despite her crying and fainting spells, her daughters married. Of all the novels written by Jane, Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion are my favorites.
Yes, at first I was confused, 2 men died in two seperate places
In the beginning yes, until I figured out who did the murders. However I really could not figure out why.
I never listened to Steve West before but, after this novel I did order more Martha Grimes novels.
His portrayal of Lady Agatha Ardry, was exquisite. Like Jury you wanted to strangle her for her constant interference .
When Jury interaction with the brother and sister, James and James. Another Jury interveiwed Ruby Judd's family their cold and aloof treatment of their daughter
Of course, I am a Fan of Mary's book for decades. I read several of her books over again, She is a great author. But even Mary has her bad days and stories..
Yes, even the novels that I read years ago.
No, I don't think so
Mary Higgins Clark is an excellent writer, do not let these short stories deter you from her books.
Yes I have already.
Ii was better than the movie.
No I haven't but, she is an excellent reader.
Nothing, I read this book years ago. It took a year, he kept killing children I continuously stop reading the book and was compelled to finish it.
I thought if I listened to to the story it would be different. It wasn't. Don't get me wrong it's a great story. Keeps you at the end of your seat. I had trouble with the death of the children.
Beverly, she was able to stand up for herself
It scared me
Yes I would and have listen to it again. I am so sorry this author passed I would have love to listen/read Lisbeth's new adventure.
Of course Lisbeth, I love her strength.
Only the trilogy. I looked up the names of the cities and towns on Google Map. I bought the book on-line but could not make heads of the language. I hate pronouncing words in correctly. So I download the 1st book on another site for free. (sorry! I was hooked and ordered the rest of from Audible.
No, I tried :-).
Yes I love Audible!
It was entertaining. the story pulled you in slowly.
That even though Harry was a wizard, he acted more like a detective. He seems to stumple his way into situtations than he takes control through magic. He scares you and also makes you laugh.
Wow! What a surprise. I watched the Dresden Files on SYFY, and wish they continues the series. But since I started the books, I’m really a fan the TV series did not come close. Big thumps up & five stars.
