im not sure people know who albom is, or does for a living, but they should look him up and read/listen to anything he writes. this story is fantastic, his lessons are wonderful, please let me suggest the 5 people you meet in heaven also. mitch has a lot on his mind!
Dotrice, at first I wasn't sure of all the character voice changes but he makes it work. There must be hundreds of characters
The unknown, the mystery of those possible problems coming from beyond the wall
The fantasy that leaves you waiting for it to happen
Haven't done any yet, but....
I can't believe he's the same guy who plays the Russian coach in "the cutting edge" movie
This is really extreme dramatics with surprises and violence
Not for kids
Listening to a part of the story and seeing the same part online is fun, you can do this without spoiling the rest of the book
Amazing, engrossing, great
The mystery of the monoliths, the fantasy of Dave's adventure through space
The performance was great, you can tell when they recorded separate scenes especially when HAL speaks, that doesn't ruin it, the effect is that it makes it creepy
My reaction is asking for the sequel on audible immediately
And buying the kindle version
I had know idea that the story was this cool
Pretty cool that it was written yrs before landing on the moon and space flight in general
A real story
I was very disappointed
Plot, the main characters
The most annoying person was the doctors wife
Eleanor was great
But she was an empty character as well, and crazy before being asked to go the hill house
Lots of disappointment
No anxiety, no fear,
It's a shame but I wanted it to be over
Reviews by other listeners are usually dead on but not this one
Dunne was great but that's it
I wish I had better feelings toward this
Yes, ray porter is awesome
He has a serious tone and fits perfectly, he made 14 by clines great to
Imagining it happen at my house, my family lives on LI,
I wouldn't of lasted a week
14 by clines
He is in elite company as far as I'm concerned
Scaring your pants off wherever you are
Fast good read
I researched some the events and some were impossible to happen, but that just makes the mystery more real, right?
Adult, imaginative, fun
Richard listening to hunter about what to do with her knife
Please don't ruin this book
Great listen, strongly suggest listening to the original story first
Graphic, epic, engrossing
The adventure, you become very involved with all the characters, good and just pure evil equally
He fits the scene, I don't know where they find these narrators but they are fantastic
I listened for long stretches but 40hrs 55 min speaks for itself
I wish there was more of a tie in with Ellens curses
The mystery behind jacks father was lacking
This is epic and I would strongly suggest to anyone to give it a listen
Maybe I'm not used to female narrators but reading the story myself was more enjoyable. No offense to chilton, she was ok.
Sand is original, young adult material that was cooI, would cont reading a sequel.
I haven't, even though I didn't like listening to her now I would give her another chance and do not discourage anyone from listening to sand
I liked the end, I'm not sure we get to any real answers about the east, at the same time you do not feel mislead about what the family needs to do next
Worth a the credit and time
def. by simon vance, he's great. ill stay away from this vampire series for now.
no, not for a while. at the same time i can still encourage people to the story, the way she wrote it i didn't expect.
he always sounds like he's directly from the story, he's better then b. pitt as louie
i wouldn't read it, their is a series but my expectation was different so I'm staying away.
50% of the book seemed like poetry from the vamps point of view, wasn't as dark or horror filled as i though it would be. lots of mellow drama but i can see why people are into it
Something like this doesn't get any better
If they broadcast this story on tv in the same way war of the worlds was done everyone would believe this was happening, this book is really terrific.
Everything, amazing narration. Weir and bray should win awards for this production.
I heard they have the movie rights, you know they are going to ruin this. They should put the book cover on the big screen and run the audiobook and have people listen to this, that would be amazing.
All other reviews are correct, the book and narration are just superior
very high, very well done, easy to listen to.
the fact that its non fiction, all the info received from the story is factual and is happening as we sit here
ok, 20min in i don't think i could of listened to the whole thing, but by 50% in the guy is perfect. his mannerisms are really scary actually when expressing the situations that arise
my reaction is its like being hit by a truck of reality
medically, 100yrs from now, the medical community are going to laugh at us the way we laugh when we read that 100yrs ago they were figuring out we should wash our hands and sterilize equipments
just 1 thing, sorry for knocking it, but thanking the author for pronunciations that are incorrect was funny, i caught just 1 word so far. it doesn't take anything away from the story
i will listen again and also will get more preston books
