Catherine has been enjoying the single life for long enough to know a good catch when she sees one. Gorgeous, charismatic, spontaneous – Lee seems almost too perfect to be true. And her friends clearly agree, as each in turn falls under his spell. But there is a darker side to Lee. His erratic, controlling and sometimes frightening behaviour means that Catherine is increasingly isolated. Driven into the darkest corner of her world, and trusting no one, she plans a meticulous escape.

Pete is always able to find work in the Scottish highlands, until the day that Police Constable Hamish Macbeth notices blood dripping onto the floor of a villager's fireplace, and a dead body stuffed inside the chimney. The entire town of Lochdubh is certain Pete is the culprit, but Hamish doesn't believe that the affable chimney sweep is capable of committing murder.

I love all the Books in this Series. But for some reason this one was freezing up my IPod. And everytime at the same Spots in the Story. I'm going to delete the book from my computer and IPod and downloading it again. I'm hoping this will fix the Issues. This is the first time this happenend with any books from Audible.

Rock is something of a nerd - or so his best friend, Kelli, has always claimed, simply because he's a brainy guy. He's an up-and-coming businessman, determined to go far fast - and he's the total opposite of fun-loving Kelli. To his regret, Kelli has always seen him as a best friend, never as a potential lover.

The story was very boring and the Narration flat. But it was free, and so worth every Penney.

Let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave. These ominous words, slashed from the pages of a book of Psalms, are the last threat that the darling of London society, Sir Edward Grey, receives from his killer. Before he can show them to Nicholas Brisbane, the private inquiry agent he has retained for his protection, Sir Edward collapses and dies at his London home, in the presence of his wife, Julia, and a roomful of dinner guests.

This story kept my full attention. I had a hard time turning it of! Intrigue on many levels. I can't wait to start the next book by this talented author.
The Narrator was excellent, telling the story with different accents and voices.
