  • Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim

    • UNABRIDGED (6 hrs and 8 mins)
    • By David Sedaris
    • Narrated By David Sedaris
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

In his newest collection of essays, David Sedaris lifts the corner of ordinary life, revealing the absurdity teeming below its surface. His world is alive with obscure desires and hidden motives, a world where forgiveness is automatic and an argument can be the highest form of love. Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim is another unforgettable collection from one of the wittiest and most original writers at work today.

    "Listen to sample first"

This book is kind of funny. I'm not sure I would give as much praise as this book seems to get. The thing that killed it for me is the reader. His voice is the kind that I can't listen to for any lengh of time. Make sure you listen to the sample first. If the reader/author's voice doesn't get on your nerves you might like it. I never finished it.

  • Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry

    • UNABRIDGED (6 hrs and 17 mins)
    • By John O'Neill, Jerome R. Corsi
    • Narrated By Jeff Riggenbach
    • Whispersync for Voice-ready

In their new book, Unfit for Command, John O'Neill and co-author Jerome Corsi bring together the words of more than 200 Navy veterans who served with John Kerry and who feel it their duty to tell why Kerry is unworthy of the presidency.

Richard T. Betz says: "Unfit For Command"
    "You can't handle the truth!"

If you really read/listen to this book you will learn the truth about John Kerry. Kerry tried to block the release of this publication because he knows the contents would expose who he really is and would hurt his chances of winning the election. Take an objective listen to these historical facts. If you are a Bush hater you might as well look elsewhere. Your mind is already made up. In which case a selection of fiction from Michael Moore, Al Franken or Richard Clarke would be a better choice. If you want the real truth about John Kerry's (short) war record and what happened after give this a listen.

  • Deliver Us From Evil: Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Liberalism

    • ABRIDGED (4 hrs and 33 mins)
    • By Sean Hannity
    • Narrated By Sean Hannity

As Americans face the ongoing war against terrorists and their state sponsors around the world, Sean Hannity reminds us we must also cope with the continuing scourge of accommodation and cowardice at home. With his trademark blend of passion and hard-hitting commentary, he urges Americans to recognize the dangers of putting our faith in toothless "multilateralism" when the times call for decisive action.

    "Finally, the truth is exposed."

It's funny to see all the liberals that only give this fine book one star. It's clear to me that they are upset that their hidden agenda has been exposed. Or they never read/listened to the book. This book is a refreshing change from the Bush bashing parade of print that flood the shelves today. Watch out libs, Sean and others are on to you. You cant use fear tactics and lies forever. The truth has been exposed.

  • Against All Enemies: Inside America's War on Terror

    • ABRIDGED (6 hrs and 17 mins)
    • By Richard A. Clarke
    • Narrated By Richard A. Clarke

The real war on terror has happened largely behind closed doors, run by the White House, drawing on secret intelligence and operations around the world. There is no man who knows more about it than Richard Clarke, the former Counterterrorism Czar for both George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, the man who has led our efforts against al Qaeda and all other terrorist enemies for years.

Paul Michael says: "Your Government At Work"
    "Non-Fiction? I dont think so."

This book needs to be moved into the fiction section. Why you ask? Well, compare the statements Clarke made in this book to the testimony he gave in the 911 hearings. It's like night and day. It amazes me that the story told for money greatly differs from the one he tells under oath. To his credit Clarke does a pretty good job of dramatizing the story. That's why I gave it one star. Maybe he has a future reading audio books? Those that are looking for the real truth of what happened in the events leading up to 911 should wait until the matter is documented correctly. This version of the story has too much spin when coming from a disgruntled failure out for revenge. Save your book credit for a good read.
