"Best yet"
In my opinion, this book was King's best yet from both a literary and pleasure-reading perspective.
"McCarthy at his best"
Yes, I will. Very thoughtful dialogue.
Both characters were fascinating.
The dramatic dialogue was effective and enjoyable.
I never know what I'm going to get with Cormac McCarthy. With this story he shows off his gift for the colloquial while tackling the meaning of existence. Nicely done!
"Not good"
I listened to the first of this trilogy and was disappointed, but I thought it would be worth it to get to this book because it had won awards. I was disappointed enough with this book that I will not complete the trilogy. The character were poorly developed and I just didn't care about them or the story.
"Great book"
This is one of the better books I've listened to in a long time. I cared about these characters from the very beginning.
"Disappointed"
This is the first book in a long time where I had to make myself pay attention.
