On a bright September morning in 1939, two days after Britain declares war on Germany, a group of privileged but desperate people gather in Southhampton to board the largest, most luxurious airliner ever built - the Pan American Clipper - bound for New York.

    Daniel Mcafee says: "Fun Listen"
    "Terrible Narrator"
    Overall

I love Ken Follet, I think he is a very talented writer and this was a pretty good book. However, this narrator was horrible. Every sentence was ended like it was either a question or an exclamation. I have to assume it wasn't written this way.

You Slay Me is a lusty romance novel with amusing supernatural undercurrents. When courier Aisling Grey is dispatched to Paris to deliver a priceless dragon statue to a rich and eccentric female collector, she finds the intended recipient the apparent victim of a demonic ritual. And that's just the beginning of Aisling's discoveries.

    E. Moore says: "You Slay Me, With Dry Mouth"
    "The narrator smacked....a lot."
    Overall

I didn't particularly enjoy this book. The narration was okay, the book was just dull. Maybe just not my style.
