"Mr. Hearne has come through again."
I have listened to all fve books now and cannot wait for the next.
Luke Daniels gives a great read.
This is a five star all the way.
"I really liked this one"
It got off to a slow start, but then hooked me. The story made some pretty big leaps, but for me it worked.
"The story and narration were fantastic"
Okay, this book has been on the shelf for a long time.
I remember reading it in high school, read it again in college and once more mid 40's.
Still have the paperback in the attic.
The story is still great, technology is dated but who cares.
What really got me was the narration. Best I've heard in the last dozen or so listens.
Give this one a listen.
You won't regret it
"This one takes a bit of listening to get into."
There were a few times when I first started listening that I thought of moving on to another book. But, I stuck with it and it was worth the wait. The characters develop into personalities that you can root for or against, depending on your leaning. The idea of living inside of a machine, while not new, is done well. The bottom line is, I would recomend this one to people who like Bradbury and Heinlein.
"Jim Butcher Rocks"
This book is yet another spellbinder and gives hope that the series will continue. My thanks Mr. Butcher.
"sherlock holmes - volume 1"
this is a must listen for anyone who is a fan of Arthur Conan Doyle!
you might have heard abridged versions on the radio, but these blow those away.
a very enjoyable listen
