"Naked in Death"
Finaly!!! I have read every one of the "in Death" series by J.D. Robb, and have several on disc, which are a pain to transfer to my i-pod, and right now I could not be happier... terrific murders, wonderful characters that become friends... every one of this series is a gem...Susan Ericson has so become the voice of Eve, that when I am reading them I use her voice in my head...and then there's Roarke... oh yah...Roarke...Peabody, McNab, Feeney, Mavis, Leonardo, Nadine, and Somerset..a great way to spend the day, with them, in the future.
"wonderful"
On a whim, i downloaded this and struggled with the first hour... after that i was rivited and am right now downloading the other two in the series....with the hope they are as gripping as the first
"Only Marilyn Quayle was worse....."
I have been listening to audio books for years and the only one that I have listened to that was worse was one written by Marilyn Quayle and her sister... The only reason that it is still holding top spot is because either she or her sister read the thing... and they were far worse than the poor dear who had to struggle through this one...if the author wants to be a country music star...go to Nashville.... by the time it finished (and I thought it never would) I wanted All of the characters, with the exception of the fat woman attorney, to be locked up!!! Not funny, not suspensful, not romantic, not apt, not well written, not hip, not witty, not nothing.
"Great to listen to"
What fun...coming from a family of southern drama queens, this hit all the right spots! I deliver mail, and am so grateful for audio books, they keep me from going postal...SEP made me laugh and made me think a bit, so, all in all, well worth the time....The only thing I didn't get was Colin's accent, it made a sweet and sexy man sound like a drip... oh well, am ordering the only other SEP book soon.
