Under the direction of famed explorer Porter Stone, an archaeological team is secretly attempting to locate the tomb of an ancient pharaoh who was unlike any other in history. Stone believes he has found the burial chamber of King Narmer, the near mythical god-king who united upper and lower Egypt in 3200 B.C., and the archaeologist has reason to believe that the greatest prize of all - Narmer's crown - might be buried with him. No crown of an Egyptian king has ever been discovered, and Narmer's is the elusive crown of the two Egypts.

Would you try another book from Lincoln Child and/or Johnathan McClain?

No. Not unless it is co-authored with Douglas Preston

What was most disappointing about Lincoln Child’s story?

I love any book about early Egypt, but this book was painful to listen to; slow moving with no character development.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Johnathan McClain?

ANYONE. After 8 years as an Audible member, this was the worst narrator ever. I may as well had my 10 year old grandson read from this book. No change in voice or inflection.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

None. Very, very disappointed with the book.

Exceptional courtroom drama. Buffa and Predovic provided the finest writting and reading combination I have experienced in any audiobook. I listen in car to and from work and often wished for a longer commute. Highly recommended.
