Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook to any one looking for an entertaining story of politics, mystery, power and corruption. I had read the book years ago when I was in high school and thoroughly enjoyed it. It let my imagination just run wild.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I could definitely listen to this book in one sitting.

War came to the Kingdoms. Many perished in the turmoil and unrest. An attempt was made to kidnap a princess and assassinate a king. Now, from the ancient past a dark power returns. As prophecy becomes reality, the factions struggle for control, only to further divide the lands. Some would say that King Andrew Alder foolishly agreed to support the Elves of the Reaches, sending men to aid their cause when the causes of all Men in all lands were being put to the test of steel.

I loved the story but the narration done by, Karl Fehr, is very flat and monitone. It takes away from the highs and lows of the storyline.

Friedman brings a fresh outlook to the crises of destabilizing climate change and rising competition for energy - both of which could poison our world if we do not act quickly and collectively. His argument speaks to all of us who are concerned about the state of America in the global future.

On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

Suzanne says: "The scare is in the human nature under stress."
    "Not Kings best"
    Overall

King spent too much time with superfulous information on characters that were just arbitrarily killed off. There were big buildups to dicovery or confrontation that never came through. I would not recommend this book.

Frank Pollard awakens in an alley, knowing nothing but his name - and that he is in great danger. Having taken refuge in a motel, he wakes again only to find his hands covered in blood. As far as he knows, he's no killer. But whose blood is this, and how did it get there?

    "Excellent Read!!"
    Overall

This is one of the best Koontz novels to date!! I think this book is brilliantly well written!. Koontz kept me anticipating on what would come next - each character was fully developed in this story. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you rivited until the end. I highly recommend this book.
