I am not certain this is the first time I read Alice In Wonderland.
Predictable but it wrapped up nicely
All the accents and voices were great. The word Lory threw me though a Parrot? Harrison sounded more like a donkey.
What Beautiful Nonsense! I kept changing so much did not know whether I was coming or going. But oh I laughed o I laughed.
I learned where so may English euphemisms come from.
The writing style fit the absolute craziness of the time .
Yes and no. What I wanted is the characters more flushed and exploration of lessons learned.
Everything! She technically did not trek the PCT, the total lack of character on her part.
Just more insight into nature itself and descriptions of the beauty around her.
Did not Stray.
Cheryl's account of upbringing and life summarize my generations chaos, due to throwing off all of societies restraints!
I love REI response to her need for boots, I will shop there more frequently!
Heller floats from one character and event to the next, without reason it seems. I would really like to why this book is on so many classic lists. Part of it is I do not like a farce especially when it involves heroes (soldiers) and my country. Did this book influence the author and tv show Mash seemed to be a lot of similarities?
Not enough distinction between the characters.
Yes, it was wonderfully entertaining.
The ending. You know it's a great book when it is not until some of the final pages you figure out everything!
How in the main characters he made subtle changes throughout the performance as the Character changed.
yes, I could see it being made into a movie. I could not visualize any current characters doing justice to the Characters.
A great read by John Grisham! I like how he touches on darkness, without being dark. Only reason for not a four stars is toward the end it got confusing because it jumped so much! Love the book!
The read was well worth the time. I learned about French Canadian Culture, history and art.
No, because that was not the type of mystery. The mystery was enjoyable because it was more methodical than most mysteries. More like real police work.
Rich, Canadian and interesting.
Louise Penny transports you to Quebec and their culture. Makes you a part of three pines in short order. The format was so different from so many mysteries. The mysteries was solved more like I imagine real police work. A great read.
