"No gimmicks, just the facts"
Yes. Well written, expresses the reality of the battle of the human spirit when faced with its mortality, specifically cancer.
Very factual and real. I could feel his pain and his anguish.
Very well done, cognicent of the late writer himself.
The afterward by Christopher's wife.. very difficult not to break down with her. My heart goes out to her.
I am in the medical field and was moved and enlightened by Christopher's ability to express and describe his emotions and consequences. He is a huge loss to talent.
"Slow finish...."
I expected more. I found this a bland book, esp. for what may likely be considered the last book in the series (Book 12). I wanted more action and a thicker plot. Instead, I found events to be predictable and boring. The person Sookie ends up with was obvious, and I found it difficult to get through the book to finally get there. I found this to be one of her weaker books.
The same. Very good reader. She is an excellent narrator.
Sookie's southern charm and lots of great emotion.
No...
Disappointing, I wanted more action and interactions between characters. There were not many exciting ones and I found this to be bland and predictable.
"It was good, not great..."
Average. My 2nd least favorite of all the Black Dagger brotherhood books.
Quinn... complex yet fun.
Clear audio
...would not make a movie of this book.
Waiting for the next book. I miss the themes of the first five books... those were so hot!!!!
"Better than the first!"
High up with the best. Great story and great narrator.
Vlad: cunning, powerful, clever, and very funny.
Spoiler alert: Too many. When he finally tells her that he loves her and when he has to turn her were up there with the best. Yet so many phenomenal scenes!!!
Loved it!!! Better than Once Burned and that was an amazing book. I did not cry.. but I am so happy at the turn of events. Lots of funny moments! I could not stop until I got through the whole story!
Highly recommended. J Frost seems to get better with each story she writes!
"Hot!"
Yes. Great story! Very sexy. Keeps you on the edge.
The black dagger brotherhood series: can't specifically compare to another book, yet similar to this series. Really good story, great action and twists that you do not necessarily see coming. Hot male vampires!

Love Lost Found
Highly recommended. One of the best books in the midnight breed series.
"Excellent!"
As entertaining as the Fever series, just as hot. Lots of fun, constantly keeps you on your toes. Well written. Great story that is extremely good.
So many, yet the ending... Finally coming face to face with Mac.
Just as good.
Iced
Extremely entertaining, very hot. Pure Karen Marie Moning for those that know her.
"Great for future leaders"
Informative, intelligent, clever
I cannot say. Have read many self improvement books, yet this one stands alone.
It was clear. Easy to follow.
Yes, it was very interesting and easy to continue listening to.. it had my attention.
Great for future leaders or leaders in management that really want to understand the secret to success. Excellent.
"Absolute garbage"
This is hard core sadomasochism to the ultimate level of humiliation and illness. I found the characters pathetic. The author has some serious psychological issues manifested through a pathological case of this piece of literature. Truly disgusting. I cannot believe this is Anne Rice. This is NOTHING like what she is known for, nor in content or any good.
I chose to read this book as I had read the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy and was not impressed. I did not understand all the hype. Is America that prudish? I was told this ('...Sleeping Beauty') was the book to read by an individual that was not crazy about this book yet wanted my opinion in comparison to Fifty Shades of Grey.. I have read JR Ward, Karen Marie Moning, Jeanine Frost, Linda K Hamilton, Thea Harrison, etc. ... authors that are amazing at adult romance (some paranormal romance) which is considered very adult and hardcore. I could not put down any of these authors' books and highly recommend them to all my friends. I thought that Fifty Shades of Grey was benign and boring... and very poorly written. This book, though, beats out Fifty Shades of Grey for bad content. Therefore, I will go back to the authors I know and those recommended and considered very good by many.
It was mediocre... very hard to make a great performance out of bad content.
Sadly, no... unless you are into merciless Hard core S and M and/or Bondage.
Not worth it... I had to force myself to get through it.
"J R Ward excels once again"
The same. Great to have audiobook for busy folks.
Closure for Wellsie... I can sleep again.
Reads well.
Wellsie finally going up to the fade
Overall wonderful story. J R Ward is by far one of the greatest writers as each book is better than the previous, and this is no exception.
