Los Angeles is no longer the City of Angels. Dark things haunt its streets - dark, restless things. Bodies have been found, and the tentative peace among humans, vampires, and werewolves teeters on the brink of collapse.

    Overall

I read the 1st book, and I liked it but thought it dragged in some places, although I liked the two main characters. I took a chance reading the second book, and I really enjoyed the vampire and werewolve connection between Michael and Keely, I like seeing more into the werewolve world, and I hope this will be stronger in the next series.

Wardwick of Hurog wishes to live in peace. Destiny has other plans. He is about to be arrested and imprisoned in the Asylum for Nobel Embarrassments and Inconveniences. Worse still Ward has learned that the same man bent on his imprisonment, Jakoven Tallven, High King of the Five Kingdoms, is seeking Hurog blood to activate the supernatural equivalent of a weapon of mass destruction. Once again Ward must play the fool to survive. Yet that will not suffice.

What did you love best about Dragon Blood?

I love Patricia Briggs wasn't sure, if I was going to like this series, but honestly enjoyed the imagination of plot and how the Dragon become part of the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I loved the characters, and how the Dragon was loyal to Hurog. I wish there was more series, because I loved going back to that time similar to the Lord of the Rings era. Loved it.
