After being murdered by a mystery assailant, navigating his way through the realm between life and death, and being brought back to the mortal world, Harry realizes that maybe death wasn’t all that bad - because he is no longer Harry Dresden, Chicago’s only professional wizard. He is now Harry Dresden, Winter Knight to Mab, the Queen of Air and Darkness. After Harry had no choice but to swear his fealty, Mab wasn’t about to let something as petty as death steal away the prize she had sought for so long.

What about James Marsters’s performance did you like?

He really gets the character and it was nice having him back.

When Mouse and Harry were reunited

    Any additional comments?

I am already chomping at the bit for the next book. Each book just improves on the last.

It is like slipping on a favorite pair of shoes.

A lot can change in three months: Wars can be decided, nations can be forged...or entire species can be brought to the brink of annihilation. Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This book suffers due to the book being finished by a different author. I really enjoyed the book and am not trashing it but the ending was too neat and tidy. It could have used a hundred more pages in my opinion to wrap it up better.

It is worth your time though

Who was your favorite character and why?

Brewster - He grows up in this book

What does Oliver Wyman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His voices and characterizations are very well done.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

    No
