I really loved this latest Stephen King novel, you might think time travel is old hat, but King changes it up and makes it very interesting and enjoyable. And Craig Wasson's performance as a 'storyteller' kept me riveted--he made it come to life, he made it breath, he made it, dance...Great job.
The third in the Grimnoir Chronicles, this novel was a very satisfying conclusion to the series. For me it was very easy to listen to, and Pinchot is an absolute master at creating characters with voice; I could play bits of this for a "non-audiobook" listener, and they say--no way that's one guy! In my opinion, Correia is an excellent storyteller, I love the pacing and the depiction of the 'world.'
I noticed at some point that this story is almost 24 hours, and was shocked. Because it seemed like half that. I can't give a greater compliment except that it seemed too short, and I wanted more. I will be moving on to the second novel almost immediately. Oh, and Oliver Wyman is fantastic, excellent character 'voices'.
