I have already listened to it 3 times in a row. Fabulous, complex novel. I catch new things each time I listen.

Joe and the cast of characters seem to come to life. Ray Porter does an awesome job of keeping the voices the same throughout the series. He pulls off the cocky Joe Ledger perfectly. I love when the good guys win.

*SPOILER ALERT* When Joe has the villian tied up on his desk with Ghost standing on the bad guy's chest. Also love Joe's quote: "There is rich, there's rich and then there's fu*k you."

There are moments of humor but by far the suspense of finding out if the team can stop the bad guys. I mean, I was pretty sure they would but lots of people died along the way. Some of the characters we have come to know and admire.

Please keep the series going, Mr. Maberry. I shall be giving you my money with glee.

The first chapter was good despite the horrible narration. I just could not deal with the narrator long enough to finish the book.

A better narrator. Barry Campbell read this like he was reading a fairy tale to a room full of children.

WTF happened here? I had to restart this book 5 times. The droning of irrevilent war statistics made my eyes cross. Only the narrator made this book interesting. The actual story line sucked ass

I totally loved his first two books. This one was a spectacular failure though. I hope he keeps trying. I am going to blame his editor for this fiasco.

Loved the characters. They felt so real, their pain, their triumphs. The night shift at the grocery store and their turkey bowling.

I loved when the animals pushed their friend in the water in order to obtain a boat. Too funny.

Any scene involving the emperor and his men.

Lots of giggling, no crying.

I was very impressed with this final chapter in Rhiannon Frater's zombie trilogy. She made you love her characters. But not all the good guys made it to the end. I cried like a baby listening to this book. Anytime an author can touch me emotionaly to that depth I am going to recommend their book. One of the best zombie books out there.

Jenny was my favorite character. She came full circle in the trilogy. Saying more would give away too much.

Narite was amazing and Calhoun was a trip. I loved the interaction between him and Narite.

Though I found the constant bickering of the two main characters annoying at the beginning, the book soon took off and was a fun read. I enjoyed it enough to buy the next in the series.
