Following a trail of clues across the galaxy, Luke Skywalker continues his quest to find the reasons behind Jacen Solo's dark downfall and to win redemption for the Jedi Order. Sojourning among the mysterious Aing-Tii monks has left Luke and his son Ben with no real answers, only the suspicion that the revelations they seek lie in the forbidden reaches of the distant Maw Cluster. There, hidden from the galaxy in a labyrinth of black holes, dwell the Mind Walkers.

I want to be a Jedi like Luke. Heck, even like Ben. This was a great book. I listened in my car as I drove to work and school. Found myself taking the long routes so I can stay in my car longer. Going to listen again on a plane ride across America now.

When a fragile peace breaks down and promptly devolves into a rapidly escalating shooting war between Pakistan and India, the U.S. must intervene. With only hours remaining before the conflict reaches a deadly point of no return, the White House must find a way to shut it down immediately or risk the likelihood of a new global war. A radical cleric has become the democratically elected president of Pakistan and uses a brutal incident in the Kashmir region as an opportunity to ignite war with India. In all the world? Only one guy to do this job? Nobody younger, quicker, without a price tag on their head? I enjoyed "Power Down" because it moved in a logical manner. This one left me wondering what was the author thinking? He should have created a different person for this book. And what happened to Jessica's accent?

I could not get past the first few minutes because the reader was too dull. Sounded robotic and stiff. Like my GPS. Book however was great in print. Get it that way instead.

Debt of Honor ends as Jack Ryan is confirmed vice president minutes before a mammoth act of terrorism kills the President, most of his cabinet, all but a few members of Congress, the entire Supreme Court and all of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Suddenly Ryan is President, which is where Executive Orders begins.

Ken Follett's World Without End was a global phenomenon, a work of grand historical sweep beloved by millions of readers and acclaimed by critics. Fall of Giants is his magnificent new historical epic. The first novel in The Century Trilogy, it follows the fates of five interrelated families - American, German, Russian, English, and Welsh - as they move through the world-shaking dramas of the First World War, the Russian Revolution, and the struggle for women's suffrage.

Keith says: "Ken Follett and John Lee / Audible's Dream Team"
    "History Lesson"
    Overall

I am a huge fan of history and the period here lands right in the middle of my favorite time frame. The way he teaches you and entertains you by incorporating historical figures is fabulous. I cannot wait until the next book.
