I have over 50 titles in my Library and have been a member for approx 6 months. I have listened to this book 4 times and learn more and enjoy it more each time. Great blunt dose of reality! Its so easy in this day and age to blame everyone else for everything bad that happens in your life. Accountability and responsibility especially for your own actions, thoughts, and feelings are lacking in this world. This book shows you how to heal and help yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically.
Most definitely! Louise Hay makes it easy to listen to, her voice is soothing, comforting and she is very matter of fact. She uses stories from her life and her clients life to help you understand the concepts. Made me believe even more that you need to cure your own self emotionally and mentally and have to in order to change your outcomes in life. You are capable of it without having to turn to habit forming medications or other vices if your willing and determined. I love the end of each chapter affirmations. Learn to love and value yourself, forgive and let go of the hurt and pain you've held onto.
This books helps you learn to deal with everyone in life by explaining 5 easy concepts on how others need to feel loved. Not everyone can be loved the same and what makes you feel loved may not be what others need to feel loved. That everyone in your life, family, friends, kids, co-workers fits in to one of the 5 concepts. I understand now where I went wrong in failed relationships and how others failed me. This book is a must for those getting married if they want to be able to learn how to truly make those in your life feel the love you have to offer.
Very easy to follow and stay actively interested in this book. Dr. Chapman uses real couples and their issues as examples which put the concepts into real life form to use and understand.
Falling into infatuation is the easy part, turning it into the kind of love that lasts....Learn how to make those around you feel valued, loved, appreciated, and wanted.
Absolutely, because no matter where you are such as in traffic or working on a grueling project at work you can turn on this book and have positive reinforcements playing in your ear reminding you to keep your thoughts powerful, positive and happy. A book BFF that gives you a motivating push to keep your thoughts where they should and where they serve you best.
Just how powerful your thoughts are and by listening to these positive uplifting thoughts it makes the day or life seem more tolerable.
I have listened to many audio's by Louise Hay and her voice alone is so comforting and positive. Her life story is inspiring and motivating. Her advice and thoughts/beliefs of life are simple and make sense. This book is a great pick me up.
This brings me back to the thoughts and person I strive to be when having a bad day or thinking negatively about another or a situation. Very inspiring and uplifting.
