I have really enjoyed this series...I wish there were more...I fell in love with this family and the girls they ended up with. I love the loyality that these boys/men had for their families and girls. I loved that they were NOT perfect and had REAL issues to work through.
I recommend this series for anyone wanting a nice listen with a great story about relationships and family. (with some toughness)
Of the 3 - this was my favorite. Alana was well written and I liked that the bodyguard had to chase after her.
Alana found her vulnerability and when she normally is a VERY strong independent person.
Good story and glad I gave it a listen
Abbi Glines will NEVER disappoint. The story is pretty simple and I like how the characters interact. I think I got a little agrivated when the story line did not allow the dude to listen to Low's explanation and ONLY believed the worse of her for several wasted weeks...He was also VERY immature about the situation with his father. BUT I have been in his shoes before and at that age in my early 20's I honestly felt the same way...now in my 40's I see things in a VERY different light...so maybe the storyline was just a little young for me personally - BUT I in NO way will discredit the story...just maybe not for me...BUT I am too much of an Abbi Glines fan to not want to find out where the rest of the stories end up.
I like being in touch with ALL kinds of books...just this series may not be on the top of my list.
I really loved getting to know these characters and having it take place in the "horse world". I personally have a horse and could relate to the "love" these families have for the animals. The scene with both main characters helping with the birth of a new foal was amazing and I felt the bond between the 2 of them grow.
I look forward to reading/listening to more stories about this series.
I have really enjoyed 2 other authors MC club books and wanted to try Own the Wind because I have ONLY heard Crazy good about Kristen Ashley.
Well, the word is true...Kristen Ashley has written a great story with "Chaos" MC club. I really enjoyed getting to know Shy(Parker) and his "old lady" which is what they call their girlfriend/wife...I like how she tried to give back to their relationship and shy doesn't understand at 1st BUT in the end it was the right thing for her to do...
I am a crazy nut for the TV show Son's of Anarchy and so I truly LOVE books about the MC..and if you do also you will NOT be disappointed...
Good story. Pretty long...Good writing...Really enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more/listening to more in my future.
"The List Unseen" was Excellent!! Well written, well explained and helped connect all of the dots from the previous book "Seven Days". This story took us back to Taryn Elseerian's parents and what they went through to help make sure their son and the world would be ready for the Second Draeken War. It takes us to the beginning of when Ianna(Taryn's mother) & Mazer(Taryn's Father) meet and their journey of escape and adventure to help with what Ianna has seen in her forsight about the coming war. It is an action packed story full of this amazing journey they go on to accomplish Ianna's LIST of things that she/they need to accomplish before they die.
I LOVE a "strong" female heroine in MOST of my stories that I read whether they be Fantasy or just a good Adult Drama & Ianna is that and more...what I also like is that Mazer is a "true" partner/friend that shows her he is there for the LONG haul and not because it is easy because it isn't...His love for her is demonstrated through out the entire story. I enjoyed having the insight to Ianna's head and what she is thinking and feeling about the times she is fighting the battle that she cannot always say the "whole" truth...One part in the book that had me on edge and tears running down my face is when Mazer has had enough and Confronts Ianna about what she has been holding back from telling him...
This couple is a PERFECT match in more ways than one.
If I was TOTALLY honest about this book it would probably rate more like a "4.5" because I feel this book and their relationship calls for a good "love scene". The tension these 2 build up throughout their story is one that I feel could've exploded when they finally do come together. BUT I knew it was Not to be because that is not what Ben(the author) writes or at least hadn't written in the last 3 previous books...because there is some really good tension building with Taryn & you know who in the book "Seven Days"...
I love that even though I knew Taryn's parents end was coming - Ben had me right there to the end crying my eyes out and hoping, just hoping that maybe it would end differently...When an author can do that to me - that makes them an "unforgettable" author to me & I will ALWAYS pick up their books to read because I know they can pull those emotions out of me and just get me lost for awhile in my world of reading or as in this case the "World of Lumineia".
I LOVED this story and I want to THANK Ben Hale for becoming an author and writing about such a different world that is SOOO different from anything else I read...
Good Story and a bit mysterious...Good Drama.
I look forward to the continuing story and look to purchase it soon.
Perfect and LOVE OWEN and Granuale & Arla...wouldn't change a thing!! Kevin amazes me again!!
Luke Daniels is an absolute Favorite Narrator for Audible. He makes listening a PLEASURE. And reading Kevin Hearne's Iron Druid Series is PERFECT for him!
I really liked Trenton. This story was not disappointing but I think I would have liked to have been in "Trenton's" mind a little more than what I was allowed in this book.
I can NEVER go wrong reading one of Jamie's books...She brings it! I also enjoyed seeing some of Travis in this story.
The Cover is beautiful!
I enjoy a book that is from more than one POV. I feel like I have the "full" story then. I really enjoyed this story of Miles & Tate. I was NOT prepared until I got "into" the book for a "tear jerker". I was not disappointed, but I can admit that Colleen did NOT hold back with her story and it is "FU*%ing" sad in a particular part of the book. I really actually liked Tate's brother...he really wanted what was best for his sister...
Good Story, but have Kleenex's on hand.
