I have twice already.
Yes. Stone Barrington is who every man would like to be.
Stuart Woods brought many of his characters together from his past books. I was worried that this might have been his last because of this. I certainly hope not. I love Mr Woods's work. Especially when Holly Barker and Stone Barrington get together in a book. Magnificent!
A little archaic to follow and a bit whimsical. All in all an entertaining classic fable. Very well performed with feeling.
When I started this read, I thought it was going to be a waste of time. But I persisted and found that it was one of the best books I have listened to. It evoked many different emotions through out the story. It came together at the end in a satisfying conclusion. All in all I would recommend this to anyone looking for an emotional read.
I felt the dog!
Denny was my favorite because he never gave up and always loved freely!
My favorite scene was when Eve's father fed Enzo the peprocinni the second time.
Eve because she was so likable.
This book was a real tear jerker so be prepared. I believe the author captured the very essence of any dogs demeanor. I could actually see any dog I have known trying to think like Enzo did in the book.
