    Yes. Stone Barrington is who every man would like to be.

    Stuart Woods brought many of his characters together from his past books. I was worried that this might have been his last because of this. I certainly hope not. I love Mr Woods's work. Especially when Holly Barker and Stone Barrington get together in a book. Magnificent!

    Why we think it’s a great listen: If you’ve ever loved a dog - or even patted a dog - this book, told from the perspective of man’s best friend, will tug at your heartstrings...and won’t let go until long after Welch performs the last word. Enzo knows he is different from other dogs: a philosopher with a nearly human soul (and an obsession with opposable thumbs), he has educated himself by watching television extensively and by listening very closely to the words of his master.

    I felt the dog!


    Who was your favorite character and why?

    Denny was my favorite because he never gave up and always loved freely!


    Which scene was your favorite?

    My favorite scene was when Eve's father fed Enzo the peprocinni the second time.


    If you could take any character from The Art of Racing in the Rain out to dinner, who would it be and why?

    Eve because she was so likable.


    Any additional comments?

    This book was a real tear jerker so be prepared. I believe the author captured the very essence of any dogs demeanor. I could actually see any dog I have known trying to think like Enzo did in the book.
