I usually love Mary Alice Monroe's work and I'm sure this is a great book. But, the poor narration prevented me from listening to it. I may try to read it later.
I love the Alex Cross series and this one was no different. The plot was great. The narration was great. Extremely disappointed in the ending.
Excellent plot combined with superb narration put this book right on my favorites' list. This must be a 're-read!'
This had the makings of a good book but the plot was very weak/shallow. I understand the struggles of this family but for goodness sake, give the readers something to hold on to.
Emma Galvin's narration was the only reason I finished this one. Good job Emma.
The perfect narration and brilliant story line make me wish there were more than 5 stars to rate this one. I literally could not put it down. Hats off to SK and Craig Wasson!
Bored with too much criticism of other historians and very weak plot. Enjoyed the narration of the first part. Couldn't force myself to continue. Would love to have more 'Innocent Traitor-like' books.
As a huge JP fan, I didn't enjoy this one as much as the others in the Alex Cross series. The plot and narration were good but it had an abridged feel to it. Too short.
Being a huge Grisham fan, I was quite disappointed in the weak plot of this one. Hopefully the next one will be as fantastic as his previous work.
As a James Patterson/Alex Cross fan, this book does not disappoint. While the content was great, the narration leaves a lot to be desired. I will read the next Alex Cross book but if the narrators are the same, I will most likely buy the hard copy.
As a long time Scarpetta fan, this book ranks at the bottom of the Patricia Cornwell list for me. I endured the first few hours in the hopes that it would get better but I gave up with a couple of hours left to listen. Bored and disappointed.
