If you are a Napoleon Hill Fan, you will enjoy this audio. It is peppered with references that apply to his time, and he is not as polished of a speaker as we often listen to today. His warmth and charm comes through the audio, but it is one that I find myself drifting off while listening, so short bursts are better than a relaxing marathon read.

I don't know where to begin on this book. It's a great story, the narration is also great. Some of the decriptions of the visual elements are simply beautifully written and then performed. I know when I see the movie I will be probably dissapointed that they left this part or that part out, but the ads for the movie were what attracted me to the book on audible. Parts of the book are not for those with a weak stomach, he describes the dead and dying with as much care as the more conventionally beautiful.

I recommend that if you read them, you read them in order. The main characture in this book is every bit of a strong female characture as Elphaba in the first book. Its so rich in imagination. It has a great ending. Its bittersweet that it had to come to an end.

I like the True Blood series, but her books are very good, and Charlane Harris has a great dark sense of humor, like with the vampire Bubba.

All stories are told from Sookie Stackhouse's point of view, and she is sometimes uninformed about the intricancies of the different relationships...nor does she want to be informed all the time...and she sometimes gets annoyed with it all. I find it a very humorous contrast of the HBO series. Good stories, good narration.

I think that this book is every bit as good as the first book in the series "Wicked"...the detail and storytelling were long in some parts, but then it started to come together, and you understood how the charactures were beginning to fit together. The Lion, the hero of this story was every bit as distinctive as Elphaba. All I can say is "wow." Can't wait to read the end of the story. The narration was excellent, story imaginative and unpredictable, and well worth the time spent.

I'm a big fan of Napolian Hills work, and I was excited that this book came out in audiobook form. However, the editor narrations by a woman's voice, is annoying. Every five or six minutes she interrupts the story teller with less than insightful comments that most everyone would probably understand anyway...like "wow, what an insightful comment...it is so true today, it is easy to get discouraged." or "you know in 1939 when Hill wrote this book, 3000 dollars was the equivilant of 45,000 and therefore he was really doing well."...blah, blah, blah....Her voice was too overpowering over the male narrators, so you were interrupped in your train of thought when it came back to the original Hill reading. I finally had to stop listening. Napolian Hill's book, as it was written, was charming and whitty... he doesn't require simpleton interpretation. I'm going to look for a copy in another form, so I don't have to listen to the constant interruption of the editor.

Davina Porter is a good narrator and I enjoyed the book. It is one that requires time to read, since she goes into a lot of detail. After reading several sections I actually went to look up several of the historical references!

This book was more than I expected. Tina gives you a lot of information about her personal history, events that shaped her and that she found particularly funny, how she got in show business, and how passionate she is for impowering women in her business. She rambles once or twice in the book, but her rambling is as endearing as she is.

This book was a good take on the fantasy subject world, but it seems to be the book that sets you up for future adventures, so the characture development was a little less than I was hoping for. I will read future installments of this series to see how it changes.

Engaging story, narration was good as well. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books.
