I thought this book was well written and very witty. It actually had some imformation about different products or diet and exercise methods that I had read about and thought about trying.

This book was very entertaining but not one that stuck to my ribs. I enjoyed it at the time but almost forgot about it until I was looking through my library for something else to read.

This book caught my attention within 5 minutes and I was not able to stop listening until it was finished. Then I started it over and listened to it again. There are some novels that I listen to every year and this is one of them. It left me wanting more and what better sign of a great read than to not want it to end.

The characters are quirky and unusual but somehow endearing and full of mystery. Throughout this entire book I was wondering where this girl gets her money and why she chose this man to help and support. This writer gave me enough information to keep me hungry for more through the whole book.

I was in a petstore in Mobile, AL and there was a girl in front of me at the register that had angel wings tatooed on her back. The wings were enormous and went from her shoulders and disappeared into the waistband of her hip huggers. I told her I liked her wings and I said, "The Gargoyle?" She gave me the biggest smile. It was her favorite book and very few people understood her tatoo.

I have a gargoyle that sits near my desk to remind me of this book. Who knows, maybe it's a replica of one carved while living on instant coffee granules.

This story was so funny and so far fetched that I could actually imagine it happening to me. I will never, EVER again spill my guts to a perfect stranger on an airplane no matter where I am going or under what circumstances. This cured me from blabbering just because I'm in a situation where I probably will never see someone again. Ha!

Was it Kahlil Gibran who said 'it's better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'? Wise man. Very wise.....

It doesn't matter how many times I've read GWTW I just don't get tired or bored with it.
The audio version is amazing. The reader does such a fab job of it and her accent and different voices are unsurpassed. Since we have always identified Scarlett with Vivian Leigh and Rhett Butler with Clark Gable, the reader does not disappoint us since she nails those voices and accents. Absolutely an amazing reader.

I seem to read the book and then watch the movie. The dialog in the movie follows the book almost verbatim so many times but the book is pretty different from the movie. And the book is pretty darn racy for something written so many years ago! Margaret Mitchell was way ahead of her time writing so openly about issues that still face us today, i.e., sex. She manages to write about sex without being graphic or offensive.

Something that has always bothered me is not about GWTW but about the 'sequel' Scarlett. It is based on the movie and not but book. Although it's good I really would have liked to find out what happened to Scarletts children since they don't exist in the GWTW movie or in the book or movie called Scarlett.

This book is it! Just can't get better than this!

Who knew that Rob Lowe was such an interesting guy? All I ever knew about him is what I've seen on tv or read in the tabloids. He has much more depth and integrity than I could have imagined. This was well written and well read. Really enjoyed this book.

This book really captured the spirit of a woman who is absolutely broken hearted by the death of her mother. The candor of her trials as well as her stubborn drive really made me want her to continue her journey to the end. I felt her pain when she described the blisters and sores on her feet, the sores on her hips from the backpack, the disbelief when her box with her money wasn't at the post office, the decision to drink the last bit of water because there was a reservoir up ahead - and it didn't have water in it.

This was a snapshot of a winning spirit and what this woman accomplished when the odds were against her. We all face challenges in life and just listening to Cheryl rally again and again gives me hope for everyone including myself.

What a great book!

This book grabbed me at the beginning and kept my interest all the way through. It is funny and entertaining. However, the reader does not know how to pronounce the names some of the towns and areas that are on the train route in this book. I wish that producers of audiobooks would research things like this because it can distract one from the story. I still loved the book.
