Han Solo should be basking in his moment of glory. After all, the cocky smuggler and captain of the Millennium Falcon just played a key role in the daring raid that destroyed the Death Star and landed the first serious blow to the Empire in its war against the Rebel Alliance. But after losing the reward his heroics earned him, Han's got nothing to celebrate. Especially since he's deep in debt to the ruthless crime lord Jabba the Hutt. There's a bounty on Han's head - and if he can't cough up the credits, he'll surely pay with his hide. The only thing that can save him is a king's ransom. Or maybe a gangster's fortune?

This quality of this audio performance was the best I have experienced in an audio book. There was background music and special effects threw the entire book. It actually scared me the first time I started up the book when I was walking my dog at night. There was a part with blaster fire and I really thought something had exploded somewhere. My dog just looked at me like I was crazy.

This is by far the best book I have ever listened too. Larry Correia is my knew favorite author. I am actually looking forward to listening to this book again. I even purchased a couple paperback copies and have given them to some of my friends. This is a must listen for anyone who likes an action packed story.

Deep in the Nevada desert is the most secure compound in the United States: Area 51. The most chilling experiment of all time is about to begin there. The president doesn't know about it. Just a few scientists and military personnel working for Majestic-12 do, and they are about to make a very big mistake.

Very entertaining read. I got this book on sale and it turned out to be great. Just be prepared that this is fiction. They mention facts that are meant to be fictional. When I realized this, I was able to enjoy the book. Also, this book was written in 1997, and they mention an iPhone. Apparently they changed some stuff in the audio version.

What did you love best about The Rook?

The story was fantastic. It made me want to get in my car and drive somewhere so I could listen to more of the story.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The narrator has a weird sing song thing she does with her voice. Listen to the preview. It is exactly like that through the whole book. It may not bother you, just be prepared.
