As a person that for over 20 years was stuck in the legalism of mixing my law with myy grace I was so refreshed to come out of the bonds that shackled me. But now that I am out I find some people that preach grace seem to be a bit heavy on grace and a little light on truth.

Randy says in this book that the successful Christian life is to have a balance with grace and truth. It was enjoyable to listen to and I liked his stories particulary the one he recouted that Phillip Yancee told about a prodigal daughter.

I find Randy a great Teacher of the Word of God

I have to say that the narrator of this book was the best narration I have ever heard. I really loved listening to the book and how she made the characters come alive. If the synopsis of The Witness makes youu interested then I hope to get you over the line with chossing this book by the naration.

This was an exceptional book. so good in fact was that I went and bought the hard copy of the book to give to friends.

I was recomended this book by two people and so I looked it up on audible. I was not happy with the overall content about heaven. Anyone that has read Kat Kerrs books on heaven would say the same would imagine. I listened to the whole book and at the end of it felt like he had too much to say about his families life on earth and too little to say about heaven. Admittedly the information had to come from a 4 year old boy, but I was quite dispointed. Revealing heaven by Katt Kerr book one and two are a much better read

It is such a breath of fresh air to come accross a writer who strikes and even balance between the grace of Christ and what it is to really deny yourself and follow him. Some people are all about a list of rules, whilst others maintain that it is alll grace but Kyle strikes and even balance between the two and says that this is what makes the difference between a follower and a fan.

Kyle says that a fan might not make it to heaven, and whilst I disagree with his postion I certainly liked what he said about being a true follower of Christ was.

With candid stories from his own life, Kyle is both transparent and honest in his personal stories as well as telling stories from other people. He is a gifted teacher and story teller and any person who reads or downloads this book is in for a treat.

David has won my heart. Although another reviewer said that the audio was no good, I would have to say that I did not find this to be true. I have just listened to this book and found it wonderfully refreshing. In days where peoples' personal wealth is exploding and the other side of the earth millions are dying it is spectacular to see how much one church can make a difference in this world. David not only spoke on the subject of giving, he led his megachurch to follow him down that path as they slashed budgets in his church and gave the money to overseas missions.

I am reminded of Jesus who put his life out front for people to follow. Jesus was a leader in every sense of the word and so is David in his actions and that of his church. I wish there was more to the book

In the course of my Christian life, and particulary after reading the commandments of Jesus, I have become a person who is a giver. In the spiritual gifts tests I always come up high on the gift of giving in the results. It is so refreshing and edifying to have my lifestyle confrimed and encouraged by Randy Alcorn. He is a master at putting the Word of God into useable information so that on the subject of giving and the rewards we get in heaven for doing so can be clearly understood.

Randy is a marvelous narrator. I have written a book myself but I am not sure that I could read good enough to pass muster. But Randy is as good as any expert I have heard.

If you want to know why you should be living a life that is focused on giving and laying up for yourself treasure in heaven, this is your book.
