I loved the story. I had only been in the US a year when Katrina hit and still in high school. The extent of the damage as well as the breakdown of the society was incomprehensible at the time. This book gave me more insight in the time it took to listen to the book than all of the news reports combined. I really enjoyed the book.
The narrator could have pronounced the "s" in all of the plurals. I'm not one to be nit picky about narration but it was seriously annoying. Also, the Arabic terms could have been pronounced a lot better. I understand that he might have been trying to Americanize the words to make sure all readers understood what he was saying, but it took away from the book.
Yes, and from my understanding, there will be a movie.
The men's voices were so old it sounded like Grace was falling in love with an 80 year old. It was really distracting. Same with the previous book...

The Series is in the top three of any series I have read!
The Italy component! (and all the talk of desserts!)
The amusing and loving nature of the characters.
All of them! They were all so different and dynamic!
Absolutely, I listened to all three books in the span of a week and a half!
The mother showing up unexpectedly added a nice twist! I was wondering how they'd work in the "mistake" part of the marriage!
Easy and fast listen, I was disappointing that it was over so quickly!
The Buchanan Series is one of my favorites, definitely a great listen! There's an order to them though, so make sure to look it up before reading!
This was definitely a book I wanted to listen to all at once. The series is great! If you haven't listened to Susan Mallory before, you'll be addicted by the time you finish this book (and the series!)
Entertaining - Sweet - Romantic
I accidentally listened to this series out of order but quite honestly, it didn't make that much of a difference. The books were creative and sweet. Definitely wouldn't mind a sequel to all four of them!
I didn't like the narrator. It was hard to differentiate between the characters and her voice is a little deep for a book that's primarily from a female POV.
I don't know what the tag line would be, but I would LOVE for the three books to be turned into a Lifetime Series of movies!! iTunes... what do you think? haha
