Louis L'Amour is the ultimate story teller. His development of the characters and the plot with his knowledge of the west, in this case, spins seamlessly together.
Plenty of twists and turns to keep the listener alert.
John Corey was real enough and his banter about the NYPD and "other" agencies interesting and seemingly on target.
Scott Brick did a good job in action scenes without losing the reader when a little character devleopement was needed.
I'm looking forward to more of these books and also hearing more of Scott Brick.
I've enjoyed all of Patterson's Alex Cross books. I haven't been disappointed yet.
I wanted to keep listening but lifestyle doesn't permit such a luxury.
