Few writers have explored the human dark side with as much insight and power - and in Winter Prey, his shattering New York Times best-seller, Sandford tells his most ice-blooded tale of all. Minneapolis Lieutenant Lucas Davenport has tracked killers in cities across America. But even he may be unprepared to face the savage murderer hunting human prey in the Wisconsin woods this winter.

Janet says: "... when Lucas met Winter ..."

What made the experience of listening to Winter Prey the most enjoyable?

I READ WINTER PREY YEARS AGO - THE AUDIBLE VERSION IS EXCELLENT. ALL OF SANFORD'S DELIGHTFULLY COLORFUL VERBIAGE SHINES THROUGH

What other book might you compare Winter Prey to and why?

ALL OF SANFORD'S PREY SERIES ARE EXCELLENT CHOICES. EACH BOOK IN THE SERIES IS RELEVANT TO ALL THE OTHERS AND TRUE TO THE "PREY" ROOTS.

Did Richard Ferrone do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

LISTEN-ABILITY IS GOOD, BUT THE FALSETTO SUCKS. WHY? BECAUSE ALL FALSETTO SUCKS! NOT JUST FERRONE'S FALSETTO. ALL FALSETTO SUCKS.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I LOVED ALL THE MACHO SHOOT-EM-UP STUFF, ESPECIALLY THE "FACE OFF" IN THE WOODS AS DESCRIBED IN THE FINAL MOMENTS OF THE STORY!

    Any additional comments?

    A GREAT LISTEN.

Would you listen to Monster Hunter Vendetta again? Why?

    It's a rip!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Monster Hunter Vendetta?

Getting rid of a Zombie Bear is best achieved by smashing your fist through its chest cavity, depositing a live hand grenade in its guts and running like hell,

What does Oliver Wyman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    Believability, if that's possible!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    What the hell was that?

    Any additional comments?

Wonderfully funny book, with a Tom Clancy-like detailed description of the latest in weaponry for dispatching a variety of undead creatures.

What would have made Grievous Sin better?

LESS FALSETTO. FALSETTO SUCKS. WHY NOT TWO READERS, M&F.

Has Grievous Sin turned you off from other books in this genre?

YES. I'LL STICK TO WHAT I KNOW AND TRUST

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Mitchell Greenberg?

    DON'T KNOW.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    IT WAS CHEAP.

    Any additional comments?

    FALSETTO SUCKS.
