In her latest suspense masterpiece, Karin Slaughter weaves together moving, powerful human stories of characters as real as they are complex and unforgettable. At the same time she has crafted a work of dazzling storytelling and spine-tingling mystery - as three people, with their own wounds and their own secrets, are all that stand between a madman and his next crime.

If you could sum up Undone in three words, what would they be?

Even though I haven't yet finished this book it's good. Only problem I had is it repeats itself so far 3 different time. I only have 37 min. left but I think I know how it's going to end. Maybe I should of waited until then, but I have enjoyed this book and thought you all should know.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Will Trent of course.

What about Natalie Ross’s performance did you like?

I like her voice. She doesn't make me crazy like some.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Wish I could but didn't have 16 hours to spare.

    Any additional comments?

I'm going to finish this book now. Hope all enjoy it as much as I have.

When it comes to Eve Duncan, never say never…Is she dead or alive? That is the question on everybody's lips. Eve appears to have been the victim of James Doane, the psychopath who kidnapped her and forced her to use her skills as a forensic sculptor to reconstruct the skull of his depraved son. That's what everyone attending her funeral thinks, at least. But not even some of her top-brass colleagues know for sure whether her death is a hoax - a way to ensnare her brutal captor once and for all.

What does Elisabeth Rodgers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She has a good voice and I enjoyed her characters accents.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The book was good in alot of places. The thing that turned me off was Jane having to do everything and not wanting (ha ha) anybody else to help. If you love someone as much as she loves Eve why wouldn't you want everyone helping you why did it always have to be only her?

    Any additional comments?

Don't be so stubborn makes for a better read if all are involved. People like Jane drive me crazy. My way or the highway bull.

After 40 years in San Quentin, Luke Palmer leaves with a state-issued suit, $100 dollars to buy a bus ticket, and a map that will lead to a promise and into the heart of a dark forest. College graduate student Molly Monroe is about to release rare butterflies not far from where the FBI used 4,000 bullets in a shootout to kill Ma Barker and one of her gangster sons in 1935. Molly snaps a picture that will frame something she never sees coming.

Where does The Butterfly Forest rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

One of the best, wish there were more.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Not on the edge but firmly planted. Would like to listen to more from Tom Lowe but Audible doesn't have the 2 before nor the 1 after. What gives? The characters were well thought out and enjoyable to see them evolve. I expect Mr. Lowe will have a good long run if any of his other books are like the Butterfly Forest.

    Which scene was your favorite?

I can't chose just one. There are far to many good scenes for that.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Sit back and enjoy. If they make the movie like the book was written.

    Any additional comments?

I hope to hear more of Sean O'Brien he is a good character.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

    I have no idea.

What was most disappointing about Nancy Bush’s story?

It ran on and on going nowhere, saying the same thing over and over. Finally I had enough and turned it off.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Didn't really like it nor disliked it.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

A whole lot of disappointment which made me sad.

    Any additional comments?

Wouldn't waste your time nor money.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Somebody who doesn't have a brain, unless you enjoy listening to the same crap repeating itself over and over. Even free which it isn't don't waste your money or credit.

Has I Dream of Danger turned you off from other books in this genre?

    no

What does Seraphine Valentine bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She has a good voice and makes you feel the experience, but even with that the book isn't worth your time.

What character would you cut from I Dream of Danger?

    none

    Any additional comments?

Please get on with the book stop saying everything over and over.

    What disappointed you about Vanished?

The female narrators voice was the worst I've ever heard! They should have let Nick Podehl do all the male voices and find another female do all the women.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Vanished?

    I don't know!

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Nick Podehl and Amy McFadden ?

Nick was fine. I would have used Susan Erickson instead of Amy

What character would you cut from Vanished?

    none

    Any additional comments?

The plot (even though I haven't finished the book yet) is interesting and enjoyable. Amy McFadden is making it hard though to finish it. Oh well, she is another narrator that I'll knock off my list of books if she is the narrating, I'll not buy.
