Chronicling his embodiment of the American Dream, Total Recall covers Schwarzenegger's high-stakes journey to the United States, from creating the international bodybuilding industry out of the sands of Venice Beach, to breathing life into cinema's most iconic characters, and becoming one of the leading political figures of our time. Proud of his accomplishments and honest about his regrets, Schwarzenegger spares nothing in sharing his amazing story.

There are some interesting stories if you can trudge thru all of the lengthy and un necessary details. The length of this book could have EASILY been cut in half. Way too much time spent on bodybuilding career and movie script details for movies that most of us have already seen. He actually spends about 5 minutes talking about turning the lights off in his house and his wife and daughters' fear of the dark. Narcissists must think people really care about this stuff. That said - I do like his positive attitude and Arnold did achieve a lot of worldly success. Like he said in the book - he is a self made man. No humility or credit given to God though. I feel bad for his wife and kids for his infidelity and selfish desire to fulfill his insecurity by having an affair with his house maid.

Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with everyone out to make sure you don't live to see the morning? In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by 12 outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.

My kids really liked it...........I didn't. I know it was popular but think it more suited for the 20 and under crowd.
