I will not spoil the story for you but I thought it was all pretty transparent and knew what would happen long before 4 allegedly experienced women did. The only saving grace is that the butler did not do it. I think I'm done with Patterson.
The narration was top notch though.
I read this in book form but the audio makes it come alive. The reader turned me off initially because either the sound quality was off or he was drunk. He sobered up quickly and put on an excellent performance. I really appreciated the emotion he put into his reading. Chapters I blew past as boring when I read it were really brought to life.
The book, of course, is awesome. I think it's even better in audio form.
First, the book was good and the narration was good. My only beef is the choice of villain.
I just could not buy Achilles as a contender for world domination. No training, no education and a record of mass murder. We last saw him commited to a mental institution! He goes from this to deviously manipulating world powers? Sorry, I just don't buy it. Maybe if Card had connected the dots I could but this just came from nowhere.
