Anita really starts growing and changing in her beliefs and this book chronicles the meat of it. My only problem with this point in the series is this is also when she sort of stops using her necromancy. I'd forgotten just how much I really like this book in the series. I'm still not crazy about the french accent as performed by the narrator, but there's less Jean Claude in this book so not as much of his "voice." Actually, the accent might be pretty decent, I'm just having trouble hearing Jean Claude with such a high tone in his voice, I always imagined it much lower.
It's a cute, quick and easy "read." There's little depth here, but sometimes that's perfect
Granted, he was born in the sixties so he had a much clearer memory of the events discussed in the book than I did (born in the 70s) - but he was a JOCK and loved listening to this book as much as I did. Wil did a FANTASTIC job with the read and the story was so engrossing. Loved it!
The battles were extremely well written and I kept finding myself trying to solve the clues along with the protagonist.
Nerdy flare, impeccable pronunciation, and he was clearly having as much fun as I was
I would love to finish this book but I just can't - it is too depressing for me. I know that I should know the information to be a better informed person, but I just can't get through the material because I end up so upset by what it is we're doing
doesn't mean it isn't any good - just that it didn't mesh with my personality. I've been trying a few of these hypnosis programs and I really am finding that the voice and style of the presenter is of paramount importance.
hypnosis is not a "one and done" sort of deal - you need to set aside your 30 min regularly to listen. So far it seems to be working. I've not stopped over eating completely but I am much more aware of what, when and why I'm eating and thus I've drastically reduced the amount I over eat on a daily basis. I'm also making healthier choices when I'm eating out. Sure, you can do all that on your own, technically, but I didn't seem to be able to. Now I actually am developing that little voice inside that questions my actions and then gives me a good feeling when I make the "right" rather than impulsive decisions.
great book - the reader put me right to sleep - GREAT if you're listening before bed, HORRIBLE if you're listening while driving like I am :/
