"What can I say!!"
Thomas Sowell is a national treasure. The first book I read was Migrations & Culture, next the Vision of the Anointed and then Race and Culture. This book is a MUST read. I will read again and again.
"Buy this for you and your children."
Done for the day don't want to read to your children - let Audible do it for you. (No, I'm not on their payroll). I do the same thing myself and I'm an adult. Read these as a child still love them as an adult. Share them with your children and let Audible do the work!
"I Love Travis McGee!!"
If you have never read a Travis McGee novel - what is wrong with you!!. But it know and read it!!
"A must have for the family at Christmas!!"
I love the Muppet's Christmas Carol but if you want your family to experience the book as written this is for you. Suitable for 8 and up (depending on your children) - not as creepy as it sounds, with a wonderful and uplifting message at the end.
"What can I say!!"
CREEPY!! No my husband and I loved this book!! It was wonderful to read the original. The Twilight Series forget it go back to the original.
"A great story!"
I love Dorothy L Sayers! I really enjoy Jill Paton Walsh's story and Edward Petherbridge's narration. Is it D.L. Sayer's of course not but who cares it's just as much fun!!
"I love Hamish Macbeth!!"
Sit back relax don't worry - do you have a cup of tea maybe a hobnob cookie? Now you are ready for Hamish. Enjoy!!
"Walk through history."
Do not look at this book as a biography of G.W. Bush. His time in his administration is a very small part of this book. This book takes you through his early days in Wyoming, his troubles as a young man at Yale, his years as a linesman and his decision to change his life and to go back to college. This is a story of a man's love for his girl (Lynne), his family and his country. Love him or hate him - he has devoted his life to the service of his country.
"A great story!"
Grabs you immediately! If you want a neat ending this is not for you. This is real life untidy and messy but I loved it and will read Tana again. Not all loose ends are tied up. The reader is great as is the author. Just sit back, relax and enjoy!
"Great story Reginald Hill at his best."
A wonderfully intricate and well crafted story. Well read by Jonathan Keeble. Would recommend it highly.
