The main characters were strong and smart. The tale had loads of substance and plot. It wasn't just about two idiots pining over each other.
Taylor, because she wasn't an idiot. She was a good strong Lead.
Taylor. She has a good accent for British society. Her american man accent needed a little work at first.
Daniel/David Switching names was inventive and fun.
Amy and Dan are admirable, yet believable.
I liked book 1 and I will probably add the rest to my wish list. Though, If they are only going to solve 1 clue per book, I don't know if I will have the patience to listen to all of them. Amy and Dan need to learn not to talk so loudly, they also need to stop letting their relatives sneak up on them so easily.
It's my fault , really. I didn't realize I was buying porn.
Nope she is too crude for my taste. I'm sure she has a fan base though. Tattoo covered bleach blonds that yell Woo Hoo a lot and drink daily.
Boredom, and a sore finger from fast forwarding through the sex
This book Probably appeals to some, it's just too crude for me. If you took the sex out there wouldn't be enough plot for a commercial. I realize a lot of people worked hard to make this book happen, and I feel bad for them.
Nickel is the kind of kid I would have loved to have as a friend when I was young. I wanted to take care of him and give him a big hug. I love that the author didn't write him as an idiot just because he is a child. This book screams the praise of smart kids everywhere.
There isn't one bit that's better than the rest.
I have not. He was a good choice for the narrator though. His voice had the right cadence for the character. His performance was seamless.
Yes, I listened in two sittings.
I would love a sequel. PLEASE!!!!!!
Yes, especially men, it is definitely from a male perspective, especially in as often as peni are mentioned. women don't think much about them, but apparently if you have one, you think about it all the time.
none. It is quite unique....a little Army of Darkness esque.
nope, but I would again.
Dave Saves the World!!!!!..........sort of.
I really enjoyed this story. it is very well written and read. I liked Dave and John, The plot was great, It ended a different story than it started, but it is a work of fiction which allows the author a lot of freedom.
He discovery of her inner strength
I can't pick one, it's a whole package thing
Definitely. I was listening as I soldered at work, and I think I growled at one of the people who interrupted me to ask for help.
I Love this series. Maybe it's a soft spot for my White trash upbringing, but I can't quit buying them.
I listened to it twice, I have only done this a few times with other books. It ranks in my top 20
Crystal Renee, I have a soft spot for crazy
Crystal Renee from the great state of Texas
When Miss Texas was taking out the armed corporation workers
I really didn't want to like this book so much, but you can't control these things as much as you would like. The story flows really well, two of the main characters are extremely likable.
Yes, I have listened twice already. The story flows beautifully. he main character is admirable and formidable. She is strong but not crass, The plot is mysterious and romantic without being as "In your face" as other romantic jaunts can be.
I can usually guess who done it before the end, I get a kick out of a story that keeps me guessing as long as possible. This was more fun than edge of your seat.
I liked all the characters that I was supposed to. They all had their quirks.
Two young women looking for adventure on the Nile....What they found was DANGER!
If there had been one female character in it who wasn't in need of constant supervision and protection. if he didn't explain every piece of survival gear to death. If the main character had been even a little more intelligent and way less sanctimonious.
I have not. I thought his voice was pleasant. I would definitely listen to him again.
The Idiot girl who shot him in the head. She was an Insult to women everywhere. I would have left her on the second day.
There were parts of this book that shined. Sarge and Driver were very well written.. Morgan was cocky and irritating. The bad guys fell like they were in a Stallone movie from the 80s. Nobody got blisters or sore arches. The admittedly out of shape Morgan was able to carry a 60 lb pack for 10 miles a day or more. All liberals are the bad guys just looking for a handout, The government is out to get all of us. Society collapsed within a day of losing electricity.
Fun, Quirky, Wouldmakeagoodmovie.
Sarah and David are both strong and intelligent. they look out for each other even though they despise each other. it's fun.
The story line was new and interesting. The constant Swish, whirr POP! Slam! were off putting and interfered with the flow of the story. They were too loud, and just seemed dumb. Just say there was a loud Slam as the door swung shut, lose the sound effects.
The endover novels. Because I can't think of any other I have read that are similar.
There weren't any.
